First time diner at The Sheep and Penguin for Sunday Lunch and can fully recommend it. The roast dinners were excellent and included a variety of perfectly cooked seasonal vegetables and an amazing cauliflower, leek and broccoli in cheese - all included in the price. Staff were all very helpful and welcoming. Can't comment on the starters or desserts as the portion size for the roasts plus vegetables are such that neither were required. Although it is away from the center of Wells definitely worth a visit. Also, dog friendly. Will be back to sample the regular daily offerings.

The service was prompt, friendly and engaging. The food was very good, quality of the fish was spot on. The portions of each dish was right for us. Our main courses of hake in a hot and sour broth and seafood linguine were inventive and delightful. A very pleasant evening complemented by the staff, who were excellent.
