The menu regularly features handmade pasta, line-caught Cornish fish and meat from Haye Farm in Devon, and Huntsham Farm in Herefordshire.

About the restaurant
We get excited when it comes to food. Head Chef Joe, and his team, source only the finest local ingredients. Bringing together gastropub classics and a traditional open fireplace – our bistro-bar is the perfect recipe for a satisfying supper. Or join us in our restaurant. Overlooking the beautiful garden, it’s the ideal place for that special occasion.

Our mouth-watering seasonal menus are complimented by a stunning selection of wines. In summer, why not head outdoors for dinner. Sample a bubbling, stone-baked pizza, fresh from our authentic wood fired oven. It’s the kind of food that makes warm evenings magical. Especially served with a locally brewed, ice cold cider.

We cater for all, so let us know if you have any specific dietary requirements. If you love food like we do, book now or give us a call.

About the restaurant
Close to the Theatre Royal, Bill’s is great for pre-show dinner or post-show drinks (or the other way around). Take your seats because the three-course show is about to begin. With classic recipes with a fresh twist you’ll be shouting ‘encore!’, but don’t worry, you can come back as many times as you like.

Lovely dining area. Fanatic staff attentive and friendly. The food was nice - I had king prawn curry (with crispy samphire - delicious) and husband had sausages and mash. Flavour was lovely. We had cheese straws to nibble - they were much bigger than straws 😂

This was a fantastic venue and made for a delightful romantic meal out for my partner and me. Although a small space, the ambience was great and there wasn't too much noise even though busy. The staff were all lovely to us, and provided excellent service - friendly, attentive, and helpful. Our food was overall very good, and drawn from a generous and imaginative menu. My prawn cocktail to start was a good portion, and the seafood linguine main was rich and spicy, although the squid in it was rather overcooked. My partner reported her starter to be the best scallops she'd ever eaten, and was likewise full of praise for the skate wing main. The wine list was excellently curated, and our accompanying bottle of prosecco was sensational and very reasonably priced for a restaurant. A great experience and would love to come again.
