Excellent Japanese food in the centre of Cardiff Bay. Really enjoyed the Nigiri special - was supposed to be for two but with only 10 pieces I finished the whole portion. There is a menu section on Flamed Nigiri - charred with a blowtorch - I didn't think too of the taste of this but you can try a portion. My partner's Cha Han chicken karaage from the wok was very tasty. Obviously in a large room with an open kitchen it can be noisy at busy times. Flat entrance and toilets mean it's accessible for wheelchair users but the tables are quite close together.

Pizzeria Villaggio has been run by the Palladino family for the past 35 years. Borrowing our grandparent's recipes and adopting their love of good simple food combined with the Italian/Welsh values of creating a great family atmosphere, for all age groups has attributed to our success and longevity. In our pizzeria, there is a great range of carefully selected pizza and pasta dishes. We also run a daily specials menu that uses the finest, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

We came for a lovely lunch today for my mums birthday & parents anniversary, we had lovely pasta dishes very flavoursome. The staff were very friendly & helpful! We had no idea there was a lovely big room at the back. It would be good to have a set lunch/dinner menu to draw more customers in.

The food was excellent,very busy and lively. Couldn't fault the service and we were attended to very quickly. The only point I would make is that you have to be prepared to receive your starter after your main meal.

The George hotel is a beautiful 400 year old hotel, currently only used as a restaurant. Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years. The menu boasts an array of fabulous dishes, from the traditional 'pub grub' with our 2 for £16 menu, to our in house dry aged Steaks, cooked to perfection by our chefs or brought out to you on our signature sizzling hot stones. On a Saturday evening, the restaurant comes alive with wonderful live music, starting off with a relaxed vibe whilst you finish off your meal, and a livelier second half to finish off your evening. Finish the week here on a sunday, where we have fast become the place to come for a sunday lunch, with rave reviews and recommendations across the board. With a vast drinks and food menu, the George is the ideal place to come, either for a relaxed lunch for two, an evening out with friends or a large family gathering.

We go to The George most Sundays for our lunch, I had beef and my wife had salmon last time, as always the food, service and value is excellent, I can’t think of a better destination

Most amazing service, despite it being so busy food was fast and service was still as lovely as ever. Amazing food as always, they even gave us a free slice of cake as it was my mams birthday!

This was our first time after my son recommended we eat at Pho and we were amazed at the quality of food! Absolutely fabulous, great value for money and we will be back for sure.
