This is our favourite restaurant in Cardiff! I can’t recommend it enough - the food is always the most incredible quality and flavour and the staff are so lovely and warm. Food is served unbelievably quickly, it’s such a wonderful experience eating here. As always we’ll be back again soon!

The spirit of Pizzeria Villaggio can be traced back to our traditional roots in Campobasso. A humble town filled with beautiful people in Southern Italy. Pizzeria Villaggio has been run by the Palladino family for the past 35 years. Borrowing our grandparent's recipes and adopting their love of good simple food combined with the Italian/Welsh values of creating a great family atmosphere, for all age groups has attributed to our success and longevity. In our pizzeria, there is a great range of carefully selected pizza and pasta dishes. We also run a daily specials menu that uses the finest, locally sourced, seasonal ingredients.

We came for a lovely lunch today for my mums birthday & parents anniversary, we had lovely pasta dishes very flavoursome. The staff were very friendly & helpful! We had no idea there was a lovely big room at the back. It would be good to have a set lunch/dinner menu to draw more customers in.

The George hotel is a beautiful 400 year old hotel, currently only used as a restaurant. Taken over in 2020, the restaurant is tastefully decorated, adourning wonderful photos of chepstow through the years. The menu boasts an array of fabulous dishes, from the traditional 'pub grub' with our 2 for £16 menu, to our in house dry aged Steaks, cooked to perfection by our chefs or brought out to you on our signature sizzling hot stones. On a Saturday evening, the restaurant comes alive with wonderful live music, starting off with a relaxed vibe whilst you finish off your meal, and a livelier second half to finish off your evening. Finish the week here on a sunday, where we have fast become the place to come for a sunday lunch, with rave reviews and recommendations across the board. With a vast drinks and food menu, the George is the ideal place to come, either for a relaxed lunch for two, an evening out with friends or a large family gathering.

We go to The George most Sundays for our lunch, I had beef and my wife had salmon last time, as always the food, service and value is excellent, I can’t think of a better destination

Lovely atmosphere with very welcoming and caring staff. Service amazing. Food is freshly cooked with care and consistently good ( we eat here a lot) ….we would definitely recommend.

They had a problem with the ovens but worked round it and we had delicious food. The lighting was a little bright for a tapas restaurant. Great service.
