We invite you to enjoy a delicious and authentic Italian meal at Enzo and Lucia Ristorante. We use only fresh ingredients in our classic Italian dishes and cherished family recipes. Homemade Italian gourmet cappellacci stuffed with seasonal ingredients is the specialty at our Long Grove restaurant housed in a former and historic Victorian-style home erected in 1876.

Our outdoor patio gives dining “all’aperto” a whole new meaning, bordered by colorful flowers and foliage, the soothing sound of a fountain, and relaxing background music. Live music on the weekends.

A bit pricy but absolutely worth the cost. Sizeable positions and the food just tastes great. Fabulous service not over powering. Lemon drop martini one is nor e ought two is too mamy

Both service and food were excellent. Our server was the model of efficiency. We ordered the Chicken Marsala and Chicken Piccata. Chicken was tender and seasoning was just right. It was our first time there and we'll go back.

Made from scratch, family recipe Italian cuisine, in Highwood since 1932, and at its current location since 1982. Serving a selection of Fresh Seafood delivered daily including Salmon, Whitefish, Mussels, Calamari..... All the classics are here, homemade pastas, hand carved and pounded out Chicken and Veal Parmigiana, Limone, Piccata, Calabrese, and of course Lasagnas, Meatballs, Chicken Vesuvio, and many more, and of course homemade desserts. Also, we offer some of the best thin, crisp crust pizza, which was the first pizza served on the North Shore at Scornavacco's since 1944.

Born in Naples, Italy and raised in Milan, Bruno Abate was inspired at an early age by his parents for his passion for food and fashion. Bruno opened his first company in Milan, selling fish and caviar to high-end restaurants. His extensive travels around the world helped him appreciate fine food and design and eventually led him to Chicago in 1999, where he combined his passions. In Chicago, Bruno brought together his vision to marry authentic Italian cuisine with a modern design when he opened his first restaurant Follia, in the meatpacking district and currently, Tocco in Winnetka.

The concept was simple, make authentic Italian Cuisine with the finest ingredients and give diners an experience like they were in Italy.

Exceptional fresh pasta! Had the pappardelle with sausage and light cream sauce and highly recommend! Fennel salads were spot on. Our server was attentive and nice! Sat out in the street under beautiful skies and chirping crickets. Memorable!

The 4 of us headed out for a nice dinner and we chose Gale St. We chose well. Though our menu choices were not varied since we all had ribs but they were wonderful. Flavorful and falling off the bone made for a great meal. Our service was fantastic. He was funny but most importantly he gave terrific service. Overall Gale St. was a fantastic experience and we will return.

Viaggio is a must for excellent Italian food! From the appetizer to the dessert...simply delicious. We were pleasantly surprised by the large tasty portions to the friendly and helpful service. We will definitely return!
