I have eaten in restuarants all over the US and Europe and never experienced what I did at The Pump House. Our food was taking awhile to come out and our server offered us soup or salad on the house while we waited. How thoughtful! Made the waiting not annoying. Thank you!

The last several visits prior to this one were definitely hit or miss. But this time everything from the hostess, waiter, cleanliness of the restaurant, the manager , and the food were all outstanding. We will definitely be eating here again in the future

We had a reservation for Friday at 3PM and was surprised to find the dining room essentially empty with only one other table occupied. Given the only other table having food I thought it was excessive that our Server did not come over for 10 minutes. The food was good but not excellent and the service did get more responsive later. It was a nice sunny day so the beautiful view passed the golf course to Anchorage and beyond was great.

Stayed in the resort to go fishing. So after a day on the water going to Timbers was a great way to relax with great selection of beers on tap and some good wines. The dinners we enjoyed were wonderfully prepared and delicious. The chili Salmon, the halibut, and their steaks were all done to perfection. I can't forget the local oysters were incredibly good. The staff were all friendly and professional and made the meals that much more enjoyable.

One member in our group has food allergies, she explained them to the server. Server immediately contacted chef. Chef came to our table, chef inquired about allergies and made suggestions! Resulting in some of the freshest and tastiest halibut ever. I opted for the chowder, it was hardy yet delicate. The knowledgeable server was from Attu! Yes, correct! Attu, filled with local knowledge. Bonus! Chef asked if I would share one of my salmon recipes with her. I will. Very impressed!
