Don’s Favorite Foods is a prix-fixe restaurant created by husband and wife team Chef Don Salamone and Kate Laurents in partnership with Sommelier Adam Galbraith.

Our menu changes monthly and highlights dishes Don grew up with as well as those he mastered though working at Michelin-starred restaurants across the country.

From Don: You may find gnocchi like my Ma used to make or Italian sausage modeled after my Godfather’s, Oreste “Ernie” Capone. You might find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, & popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because she makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too. These things are all my favorites.

The preplanned menu was excellent. The chef served each dish with an explanation of how the dish was prepared. While it was an expensive dinner, we will definitely go again for special occasions

The Fresh & Wild, included perfectly grilled and seasoned Pacific cod. The asparagus was grilled , but crisp and potatoes were grilled and seasoned well. The Marionberry Crisp with vanilla bean was delicious!!! I recommend The Sea Glass Bistro to all my friends.

The food tasted great. We were a bit surprised that portions were not how we’d seen with every other sushi place we’ve visited over the years. You want “Uni”? Here is one piece. Aldo was strange that it appeared they wanted their servers to be the bearer of this news when it likely should be posted to the menu. In light of that, we enjoyed all the food. My son had a good birthday meal!

The food was good if we are back in town again it is defiantly worth checking out. One suggestion if the weather is nice sit out side on the creek.
