As always, our dining experience was perfect. We enjoyed a scrumptious meal thanks to Chef Henry and his staff. Everything was prepared superbly. Whatever Chef Henry touches is golden. We look forward to our next visit in the near future when we can sample his seasonal specials. Merci beaucoup!

Don’s Favorite Foods is a prix-fixe restaurant created by husband and wife team Chef Don Salamone and Kate Laurents in partnership with Sommelier Adam Galbraith.
We also offer cocktails courtesy of Jeffrey Morgenthaler and Benjamin "Banjo" Amberg.

Our Italian and French-influenced menu changes monthly and highlights dishes Don grew up with as well as those he mastered though his experiences working at Michelin-starred restaurants all over the country.

From Don: At Don’s, you may find gnocchi like my Ma used to make or Italian sausage modeled after my Godfather’s, Oreste “Ernie” Capone. You might also find scallops still in their shells, Oregon pork in the style of Braciole, and popovers I learned to make from my mother-in-law, Terry, because the Laurents family makes those every Christmas morning... beef tartare, sea urchin, caviar, etc too. These things are all my favorites.

Our second visit to Yoli. We opted for the 5 course menu for $60. Started with an excellent cocktail. Each of the courses we selected was outstanding, such a wonderful mix of flavors. Service was flawless, just the right level of attention and very timely delivery of each course. Definitely recommend that menu option - but bring an appetite!

Nebbiolo is one of my favorite restaurants and I love bringing friends who have never eaten there. I took two friends out for dinner on Thursday evening and they loved it, as I knew they would! We all ate something different and all loved their meals. Sea scallops, grilled salmon, beef with mushrooms and the mushroom ravioli were big hits at our table. Best sea scallops in town, and I almost always order it. Another favorite is the pan-roasted chicken with the best pan gravy ever! Thank you, Nebbiolo for your consistently delicious meals and fantastic vibe! One of the best places to eat near me in Milwaukie.

The restaurant was beautiful. The family running the restaurant were very welcoming The food was so flavorful and delicious. We had the opportunity to meet Mama and two of the sons and are so grateful to have experienced their restaurant. We look forward to returning again.

Great neighborhood spot - worth the drive. My 3rd or 4th time here over the years; party of 4 and we really enjoyed their menu! The Burrata was fabulous, Meatballs heavy spiced and satisfying; 2 of our party ordered the Eggplant Manicotti and loved it. Our server was able to find wines by the glass based on our preferences, which we paired with their Warm Olives and Focaccia; so tasty.

A visit to the Clockwork Rose is an experience not to be missed, and to be repeated frequently. We have had their High Tea experience a number of times, including themed experiences such as their Hogwarts tea. Every time the server has been very nice and quite knowledgeable about the many different teas they offer. The food is always superb. One should take time to explore the décor, whether for a themed experience or not. It is an eclectic mix of Victorian, Steampunk, and antique tea house. The decoration for the themed experiences turns the décor up to 11 with an astounding sense of detail. We would return weekly, except that then it would no longer be special. Instead, we try to go once a quarter. It is fun, relaxing, and pure enjoyment.
