OMAKASE means "Up to you" in Japanese. A unique Japanese dining experience that involves placing one's trust in the chef's culinary skills to create a personal meal. This selected course meal includes carefully crafted dishes from appetizer to Nigiris to tempura to grilled fish to soup to all the way to dessert. This journey begins with the freshest, highest-quality fish imported from Japan. Our sushi chef, Haruki Higashitai masterfully navigates the seasons, bringing you distinctive flavors the reflect the quality and essence of each ingredient.

""We are specialized in Omakase, and we have Lunch and Dinner Omakase Course."" Dinner Omakase will be $ 245 and 19 dishes, and Lunch Omakase will be $185 and 16 dishes.

We have 3 Omakase seatings daily... 2:00 pm, 5:00 pm or 7:30 pm. Any allergies will need to be noted prior to the reservation date, so a special menu can be prepared. (We cannot accommodate the guest with all shellfish allergy, vegetarian, Kosher, gluten intolerance, or if you do not like uni)

Diners must cancel their reservation 48 hours in advance or will be subject to $75 fee, or $100 if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours. If you do not show up, the fee will be full price of the course.

Sushi Sasabune fue elegido como "Best Restaurant Hawaii" y ganó el "Top Food Honors" por Zagat’s Survey Magazine 2011/2012. Es importante hacer notar que no ofrece rollos California y que la mayoría del sushi al estilo omakase (a gusto del chef) no debe sazonarse con salsa de soya ni wasabi. Esta será una nueva experiencia que disfrutará el comensal. Cada plato pequeño está elaborado para complementar al anterior y prepararlo para el siguiente. Podrá degustar el sashimi y algunos tipos de sushi artesanal en su estado más puro. Un crítico culinario local, después de cenar en el restaurante, comentó sobre el estilo de sushi que "el pescado y los mariscos son extremadamente frescos, sin olor ni resabios, tan frescos que su sabor es dulce, algo que no había experimentado en otros restaurantes".
