We have been to Ruth's Chris Steak House plenty of times in different locations. This is our first time here in Pier 5, and since my sister's family came to visit we wanted to let them try the good food and have a nice experience we used to have so we booked the table here. When we arrived, the table was ready and we didn't have to wait at all. Our server is a young petite lady, she greeted us briefly while walking away right before we sat down. Once we were about to sit down, my sister noticed one side of the seat couch had food all over, we assumed it was definitely from previous table and the server didn't clean it properly. We had to ask different server to help clean it up because we couldn't find our server anywhere. After the appetizer was served we still were missing one whole set of plate knife & fork and 2 cloth napkins. We had to ask another server for those because ,again, we couldn't find our server. Most of the food came out differently from how we had asked for and had to be sent back to recook. I was a bit uncomfortable when her napkin touched part of the food in the plate when she was carrying it back to recook. Also the food was served in a very small plate which makes it very hard to eat. Our server never refills our water even after we had finished the whole glass and we had to ask for refill ourselves. Overall, our experience from the food, service and attention we received was so awful I felt bad I took my family there. This was not something we would expect from a high end restaurant where we had to pay over $150 for a plate of steak. I wish I had read the review before going there otherwise we would have not gone there in the first place. The service definitely needs to be improved in order to get more customers. I now had no doubt why I could get a reservation last minute so easily. At this point we wouldn't go back there again. If you want to try Ruth's Chris Steak House I would suggest going to other locations.

My reservation was for 6:15, I arrived 6:34 was informed there’s a wait. Waited over 1 hr to get a message that our table was ready so we for a walk, when we got there we had to wait another 20-30 to be seated. When we got seated we waited over an hour to got our food, we got our food at 9;08 pm . Absolute madness!

On mother's day we had a 5:15 pm reservation as we had a show to attend to by 730. We arrived 10 mins early & were told that we would be seated shortly as they were preparing our table. We were not seated until 6:40 pm & then told the kitchen was on an 1.5 hour wait for food. We were only seated after speaking to the front desk staff several times. The staff was very very rude. Everyone was running crazy very unorganized. Our waitress Madison was amazing even with all the disarray. Our food took a very long time & was just Mediocre definitely not ruth Chris standard I'm used to receiving. After this experience I would be very hesitant to return.

All of the staff very unprofessional and the food was not good at all. Needs better management. Was there on Mother’s Day with a reservation and was told it was still an hour wait. It was so many people in the lobby complaining. It was a complete circus. We waited way to long to be seated and to get our food. My kid didn’t get any food as we were told after we got our food that they didn’t have what he ordered. So They rushed out some overly greasy fries. The whole staff needs to be held accountable for their actions.

Reservation was set weeks in advance for Mothers Day. My family and I arrived 10 minutes early for our 3:45pm reservation. We were not seated until about 4:25. We placed our orders at around 4:45pm. We did not receive any food until 6:45pm. The food we received was incorrect, cold, and came out individually instead of together as a family. The parking was by the hour, so we had to continue to pay for that while we waited entirely to long for what should have been much better service. The waiter did his best to try to smooth the event over, but in the end, management decided to charge us full price minus the price of the food that hadn't arrived at our table yet upon us deciding to leave.

Very crowded on Mother’s Day. I made reservations for outside but was sitter inside instead. The service was excellent but we waited for over 2 hours to receive our food. Parties were getting up and leaving without being served. Our waiter was very nice and apologetic. I wish the manager had more training to offer assistance to customers and make more rounds around the restaurant. I know the restaurant it a great restaurant but eating here on busy holidays is not smart.

I would not recommend going on a holiday. Clearly there wasn’t enough staff or preparation for Mother’s Day. Our reservation was for 2:15pm we were not seated until close to 3:00pm. One of the greeting staff was extremely rude to my aunt, other customers and her coworkers. The service was extremely slow. We didn’t leave until after 6:00pm, waiting on food. When the food came the quality was not what you expect of Ruth’s Chris. My medium steak was over cooked, the crab cakes were over cooked/dry and the lobster Mac and cheese was runny. Lastly, we had outdoor seating which was not covered. Only a few tables had shade, it was a hot day and my grandmother is 81. They also had the heating lamp on but it was over 80 degrees outside.

Went here for my wife's first Mother's Day. The staff was all very accommodating of our 6 month old, and very attentive. Our waiter, Steve, was excellent and warned us of the extremely hot plates so that little hands would not get burned. Overall, a great Mother's Day brunch!

Ruth’s Chris is one of my favorite restaurants until yesterday I had not ever had a bad experience. I planned a beautiful Mother’s Day for my family and I was extremely disappointed. The hostess was warm, funny & welcoming. The server was good but the service was very slow, the food was cold, my mom’s sweet potatoes were never served. My short ribs were fatty. My daughter’s steak arrived after everyone had eaten their meals. The manager attempted to make it right but it still fell short. It was a very disappointing meal.

We ordered off the Mothers Day brunch menu and the Food was amazing. We ordered cocktails off the brunch menu and they came out so pretty and tasted amazing. Our server Michelle was kind and attentive. Even during the rush from it being Mothers Day, the manager Eduardo made his rounds and made sure everyone was satisfied with their food and service which made us feel valued.

Mother’s Day brunch. The service was impeccable from the warm greeting by the hostess to the friendly, attentive service by our waiter, Daniel. But the kitchen ruined my Mom’s meal by preparing an incorrect and partial variation of an entree that was featured on the menu-and it excluded the main item in the dish. We ordered chicken and biscuits with quiche and berries. We received biscuits and potatoes. We were very disappointed. Daniel quickly corrected the error made by the kitchen and our meal concluded without further incident. He really rescued our Mother’s Day brunch and we will certainly return in the future. However, a word of advice to the kitchen staff and food runners: learn the specialty menus before the day of an event.

For the cost of a meal here, the service did not reflect. Our waiter was not attentive, the food came out late (20 minutes after the appetizers were cleared for our meals), the drinks were late and we needed to flag him down to even get the second round.
