Smoked Seafood Platter
Chilean Sea Bass
They were a bit short-staffed and some of our food came out cold. But the taste was amazing (even cold) and the vibe of the place was perfect!
Crab cakes and blackened shrimp with grits were outstanding!
I went for blue crab and the crab I received was bland, no taste. For the expense of crab I felt it was a true rip-off.
Let’s start with the place needs to be renovated. It’s very old and dated. Upon entry the old carpet was disgusting. The server was nice enough, although he tried to up-sale everything on the menu. The food is grotesquely overpriced for the quality, portion size and taste. Literally, I would have been better off at Red Lobster and saved $130. Definitely wasn’t worth $240. The breading was tasteless and fell off the fried shrimp. By the way who serves 2 shrimp in a seafood platter? Ridiculous place, never again will I dine at this place.

It was wonderful.
We have a wonderful time at Rusty Scupper for our 5 year anniversary. Our waitress Jackie was wonderful, she talked, made jokes, and gave us wonderful food recommendations! We will definitely be back when we come back to Baltimore!
The views can't be beat, but the food is wildly overpriced for what you're getting. Service was not great, but I chalk that up to COVID, and I'm sure they're doing their best with limited resources. But the food is just so heavy and greasy; our entrees were on par with bad wedding catering, which is not what you want when the meal is $75-100/per person. I've eaten here three times in the past ten years, and the last two times, I convinced myself that the first meal was just an off night. It wasn't! I almost wonder if I would have been better off at one of the chain seafood joints in the Inner Harbor.
Great date night spot ! Right on the harbor food is amazing!
Beautiful views, great service and delicious meals
The food was excellent but we were disappointed with service. The party of 3 that were sat 10 minutes after us were served at least 10 minutes before us and I had to call the server to ask for the check when she was busy chatting with other servers. The meal was delicious but we were constantly interrupted by a manager trying to upcharge our bill. He was not appreciated!
Wonderful food, very high quality ingredients, we had the beet and goat cheese salad and tuna carpaccio as starters, our server told us they are new to the menu, they were fabulous! Oysters were outstanding and entrees as well. Our server Sharmelis was wonderful, we enjoyed a nice leisurely meal thanks to her!!
really great place for dates and birthdays , food is the best
It was a very nice night. Birthday dinner was a success.
Apostrophe waiter was outstanding, gave recommendations which were spot on. Ordered seafood tower and crap dip both were outstanding . Caesar salad average. Wife had Mahi Mahi and raved about it. I had the rockfish with crab stuffing which was excellent, but the overall number one item was the warm butter cake. All I can say is even if your stuffed you have to order this. Picture the best most moist cake you’ve ever had multiplied by 100 topped with vanilla ice cream, strawberry’s and crumb cake topping. You’ll regret not ordering. Next time we are in Baltimore we will be back to the Rusty Scupper!
The atmosphere really made it worth it. We sat at the windows facing the harbor at sunset. Beautiful.
The food was great. The complimentary bread and almond aioli were good. Soft bread and a nice dipping sauce. We had the crab dip as an appetizer. This bread was perfect for the dip and all four of us had our fill. I ordered the Surf and Surf - crab cake and scallops. My dish came with three large pan seared scallops and a lump carb cake. Both were absolutely delicious. My sides were asparagus and collard green. The asparagus were huge- not my favorite. The greens were a palette shock at first. Kind of a salty vinegar situation. But after a couple of bites it was good. I had more than enough to eat the next day for leftovers. The server was nice and helpful. She knew the menu well and was patient with our questions. Service was efficient. We received our drinks (even the bar drinks) and refills quickly.
It was pricy. Nice for a vacation or special occasion but definitely not a daily thing for the average joe.
I would definitely return.
Overall, the experience was excellent. The noise level was on the higher side, but the views of Baltimore's Inner Harbor are great, and appear to be for all the tables. I was surprised at the cuisine and presentation, exceeding our expectations. These likely correspond to the prices being a bit on the higher side. All of the staff were amiable and anxious to make our experience great overall.
Nice views from all around. Food was great and lots of options.
Terrific food, great service! We had crab cake that was the best, almost pure crab. Swordfish was fixed perfectly. Made our anniversary dinner very special
High recommend - Excellent Food and Service. Best in the area as far as overall expectations
Brunch on a Sunday afternoon was amazingly delicious. The complimentary mimosas, sangria and bellini's were on point. I would definitely be returning . The cost, not too expensive and very well worth the one hour drive.
Everything was fantastic. The food was good and the service was fantastic.
The service was very good and the views are extraordinary. The seating was a little tight, but the food was very good
Everything was wonderful. The food, the staff, the ambiance. This is my favorite Sunday brunch. Keep doing what your doing. I wish I could get frequent dining points!😘
Extremely attentive and competent server (Mary). Food was great; portions were larger than I would prefer. Fairly expensive entrees, but appetizers were very reasonably priced with ample portions.
View was great, food delicious, service great great. Our waitress was wonderful. Personality plus. Bit expensive. Only complaint, food not hot enough. Husband likes food xtra hot. Heat hot. 4 of us, all enjoyed.
Outstanding view of the inner harbor. Very enjoyable dining experience.
Rockfish was excellent. I added Crab (Maryland style) which was very good but expensive. The service was Excellent.
Great customer service. Great food, service and environment.
Great place to eat. Nice view of the harbor. Great food
Amazing food and service, and the view was gorgeous!
Calamari lemon aioli (delish)
Salmon Miso or Chesapeake Style (light on old bay for less spices)
Chilean Sea Bass
Sparkling water is so crisp and tasty
Lovely dinner! The views & food were both amazing. I can't stop raving about my blackened salmon served "Maryland style". The prices were fair for being a nice establishment. The server was courteous and prompt. It was quite loud inside but not a bother to me. Lovely time.
Great ambiance, views of the harbor from every angle. I’ve had crab cakes at a few places in Baltimore that are good but Rusty Scupper is my favorite place to order crab cakes. They are 95% crab and very tasty! The
The food was delicious until I found a finger nail in my dessert that I brought home! And it wasn’t mine!!!
Wonderful staff very attentive and friendly. Food was good. The obeisance was amazing especially at night. Would highly recommend. The Bass fish was great.
Food was excellent. I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was so wonderful. Service was on point!!
Super service great view. Music was too loud. When we return we will come back
The view was spectacular! We order the Maryland crab soup and found a whole scoop of crab right on top of the soup. Superb!
