   The atmosphere was awesome , the restaurant was clean . We were seated and greeted by a waitress who was awesome and their was a second waitress who was also awesome they served us with a smile plus. We had the prawn appetizer they were huge and the home made sauce was good. Then a garden salad which was fresh and yummy then the prime rib and lobster and it was cooked perfect . I usually don't write reviews but this place just hit the bulls eye for me.

   Rudy's has always been good, now they are great! It has been updated in many ways and warrants a visit. We were there on a Friday at 5 pm, and the service was outstanding! The food was great too, and they adjusted the menu a bit offering a Crab Louie, instead of the Lobster Louie listed on the menu, as I can't eat shrimp.

   Made reservations, table was ready on time. Greeted very nicely and seated promply. Server was attentative, gracious and friendly. Both of our meals were cooked perfecty, served hot with awesome flavor and generous portions. One of our favorite seafood and steak houses to enjoy for our date night.

   Love this place. Cathy is the best waitress and makes it fun too! The food amazing and the ambiance is great too. It's like stepping into a different world. Love the captains room.

   One of our favorite places to go for a special event! Quality is consistent over the years. Recommend lobster, clam chowder, salmon. The best asparagus I’ve ever had!

   Fantastic food. Large portions. We were able to enjoy our dinner and not feel rushed. Excellent service!

   We’ve always loved Rudys Hideaway. In the past always complete 5 stars across the board. This time some disappointments. Things that are important to us at a fine dining restaraunt. Went to paper napkins from cloth. Felt to us like we were at a lower quality restaraunt. My lobster, which I always get at Rudys, was dry like maybe it sat under warming lights all day? Not melted butter but melted margarine or something (?) served with my lobster. I like olive oil on my salad that I request to be brought to the table. Again, who knows?…a seed oil, corn oil or anything but olive oil. I always drink my water through a straw, yet I was served a glass with a lip smudge on the top of my glass. On the plus side…service was great. Seated about 8pm yet my husband’s prime rib arrived very rare as he likes and requested and a beautiful huge cut. The chocolate moose that our server brought to me on the house, for my birthday was perfect in taste & texture. Come on Rudy’s, along with the service & food quality, the small things really do matter.

   Thank you so much for your review. A few things. #1 we've been using our own logo linen-like napkins for aprx 30 years, we have never had cloth napkins! Lobsters are cooked to order and never "sit under warming lights all day". That just didn't happen. We clarify (which means melt and remove the milk fat) from huge 30lb blocks of full fat butter. Theres no margarine in the building. We fill our salad cruet's with Vinegar and 90/10 blend of Olive Oil out of a large jar. It is too large to bring to the table for your perusal. I am glad you enjoyed the complimentary chocolate Mousse! You're correct the little things DO matter, however unfairly criticizing un-factual things isnt helpful. We might not get everything perfect every time but in 50 years we sure do try! We hope to see you again!

   Excellent food. Hubbys filet was undercooked but we got it corrected with no problems. My prime rib was AMAZING as always.

    We went to Rudy's Hideaway for my wife's birthday. The food and service was incredible. My wife had the lobster tail and I had the Alaskan halibut. They were both very tasty and cooked perfectly. Our waitress, Katie could not have been more attentive. We have found a great local restaurant and will definitely be back.
