   Our waiter was excellent!!! Attentive and explained the menu well. The food was beautiful as well as delicious. Each member of the serving and wait staff was courteous and efficient. We’ll be back!

   We are long time customers at Roys on Oahu, this was disappointing...not even greeted upon arrival until over 5 minutes had passed, told that it was our Anniversary, nothing done with our meal or dessert to acknowledge special occasion...waited for courses to arrive, the wrong entrees put on our table, which my husband touched, then whisked away with no explanation or apology, wondered if our entrees had been sitting on some other table, waited a long time to order dessert and even longer for the bill...appreciated the bus boy who checked on us frequently, otherwise the service was very slow and disappointing, the food not up to par...no mention of our anniversary at all...

   We had a wonderful experience at this location, from the friendly hostess who checked us in to the warm, charming bartenders (Nicole & Cameron) who knew the menu inside & out & made great recommendations. Highly recommend visiting this location! Start at the bar for Aloha Hour & then move on to dinner.

   I ordered the “Misoyaki Butterfish” and it was delicious. It came with Sizzling Soy | Bok Choi | Forbidden Rice. I also ordered a cocktail called “Kohala Kooler” Kuleana Nanea Rum | Yuzu Curacao Lime Juice Orgeat | Strawberry & Guava After all this, I ordered a dessert.

    Can’t say enough good things about this place. Great food, great service and lot’s of new and exciting things on the menu. Brandon is doing a great job with this restaurant and should be recognized for it.
