   Roy’s is so great for kids. The appetizer upon arrival to the table, selection of entrees, and dessert included all for an amazing price is wonderful. Always a favorite spot for dinner during our vacations to the Big Island.

   The last time we visited here was ten years ago; the food and service is still second to none. We had such a great time last night. The flavors and presentation were spot on (thank you to the kitchen staff!) and our greeters and server were so friendly. We were visiting from Oahu and love the Roy’s Ko Olina as well, but this time jn Waikaloa was the first time with our kids. They loved it as much as we did. Mahalo!

   My wife and I dine at Roy's almost weekly. Last night, we also brought two friends. They told us they have been going to Roy's for over 20 years. I ordered the scallops, our guests ordered the mac nut swordfish and the salmon special. We also ordered chef Tyler's stuffed mushroom special appetizer. All of the dishes were absolutely delicious! Our guests commented that this was the best dinner ever at Roy's. Since executive chef Tyler joined the kitchen staff, Roy's serves some of the best food in Hawaii.

   The wait staff seemed a little overwhelmed. We had several different wait staff taking over. I think management needs to get better help

   We have been coming here for years - amazes us that the staff remembers us and is so welcoming. Why would you go anywhere else? Ok - to vary things a bit but food (tyler does a great job) and between Nicki and Brandon (get them right - both are super) Arne has a great crew. Always good is ahi tuna - and my hubby had shrimp and grits as with time change, we just did appies - but meals are over the top. We always seem to find nice people eating at the bar - this place is a gem you don’t want to miss!

   I’ve been a loyal patron of Roy’s for years, always returning for the exceptional food and overall experience. Unfortunately, this visit was deeply disappointing. While the food remained outstanding, the service and attention to detail fell far below the standard I’ve come to expect. It wasn’t until I brought my concerns to the manager that the situation improved—but by then, the damage to the experience had already been done. It’s incredibly disheartening to see such a once-reliable favorite miss the mark so significantly.

   Excellent dining! Food was delicious. Service was attentive and the atmosphere was fun. So many people saying Aloha when we entered.

    Our waiter was excellent!!! Attentive and explained the menu well. The food was beautiful as well as delicious. Each member of the serving and wait staff was courteous and efficient. We’ll be back!
