    The experience was sweet. We were celebrating my son’s birthday. Everyone was extremely friendly and made an effort to say Happy Birthday to Jackson. Both Entrees were delicious. Looking forward to our next dinner at Roy’s.

    Impeccable service and a great meal capped out the end of a ten day vacation in Hawaii. We celebrated two birthdays and the staff did everything possible to make this small gathering of family unforgettable.. I will be sure to recommend this location to everyone if they visit Waikiki.

    We always eat here when in Waikiki and look forward to our favorite dishes. Unfortunately this time both the ribs and the butterfish were overly sweet. The price for the butterfish went up so much but the quality went down. Both of us ordered it and both came out lukewarm and not caramelized. And way too much sugar that was not balanced with the normal ginger flavor. I hope the chef can fix these issues as we love coming here.

    Exceptional food and service. After a week in Waikiki we finally made it here and it has been the highlight of our dining experiences. The only issue is it is a bit loud and difficult to converse, but that’s not unusual for most restaurants in the area.

    The place was alive and happening when we got there. The person who showed us to our table was very welcoming and friendly. Our water came quickly and with a smile and was replenished throughout the meal without asking. Drink orders followed quickly. The food was truly STELLAR! - from the brussel sprouts appetizer, to the misoyaki butterfish, to their speciality short ribs and fish combo, to the pineapple upside down cake and the molten chocolate soufflé. Truly “broke da mouth” onolicious! Prices seem to have doubled since last year but we felt it was worth it because the quality of the food has remained consistently delicious. Dinner there was one of the highlights of our annual staycation in Waikiki.
