    A pretty great meal at a place that is in the hustle and bustle of Waikiki - really good food and drinks at Hawaii prices. Our server was informative but you could tell he was used to dealing with the tourist crowd (short answers, eyes scanning the street for friends, on the move to make way for the next customer). Don’t go for ambiance-go for the food.

    We visited there for our second anniversary. The service was good, the people were nice and friendly. But the food was too salty for me. He uses a lot of miso and soy sauce, when I eat it, I felt very thirsty. Maybe my diet has been changed.

    It was a great experience. I’ve eaten at Roy’s in California and it’s always a pleasure to dine there. It was our anniversary and we weren’t disappointed.

    This was our 3rd visit to Roy’s. We come to Oahu every year in July to celebrate few birthdays and Roy’s is where we go. Food is beyond great, service is excellent and the ambiance is vibrant. We often have the filet mignon , butterfish and soufflé (order at the same time as your entree’s). We love Roy’s.

    The service was great, very smooth. The pineapple upside down cake was delicious. we all liked the crab cakes, could have eaten 2 orders. My Butterfish was very good.
