   Outstanding covers it! From the initial cocktail experience Roy’s® Signature Hawaiian Martini Stoli Vanilla Vodka & Koloa Coconut Rum Infused with Fresh Maui Gold Pineapples to the dining it was superb. I had the Blue dynamite crab cake, Chilean sea bass and tempura lobster. Phenomenal. My husband had the Misoyaki Butterfish Forbidden Black Rice | Sweet Ginger Wasabi Butter which was also fabulous. Service was incredible also. Don’t miss out on Roy’s Signature Melting Hot Chocolate Soufflé Raspberry Coulis | Vanilla Bean Ice Cream. It was our anniversary and they also brought a special dessert beautifully decorated with handwritten chocolate.The only thing that could have possibly made the experience better would have been an ocean view.

   The food was overall ok, but not worth the price. The zucchini buns were the best of everything. Basically tempura zucchini on a bun, but fried very nicely. The butterfish (what I came for) was really nice. My husband got the combo, fish and short rib. IMO it was not good at all. They were both super salty. My friend got an appetizer platter, but it honestly looked a bit sad. The two shrimp skewers were also very salty and the rest was not memorable. The desserts were all pretty tasty (we had I think almost one of each) The service was sooooo slow. We were there, not by choice, for almost three hours. The girl server wasn’t necessarily rude, but for the prices you pay we were expecting g a little more friendliness and productiveness and perhaps even a friendly “I’m so sorry it’s taking a while”. Instead, she was just kinda there. Not sure, maybe she’s new. I’m assuming she did notice we were getting restless because the manager came out to apologize for the delay swing two large parties ordered before us. She was nice and offered us desserts, but by then between the excessive long wait and the subpar waitress, we were tired and ready to go. Overall, we were just not super impressed.

   I have walked past Roy’s dozens of times and wish I would’ve tried it way sooner. I will place Roy’s on my list of must visits when my wife and I come back to the island. Everything was wonderful, including the complimentary edamame and birthday brownie for my wife. We had a MaiTai, Nirvana, Macadamia Nut Fresh Fish, Crab Cakes and a California roll. The dining room can be loud, yes, but it’s because of a very few inconsiderate patrons and not the fault of the establishment. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

   We visit the island every year, and Roy's Waikiki is a must no matter what. The cocktails and wine selections are always interesting and delicious. The meals are always so satisfying, fresh, and decadent with flavors. Staff are extremely professional, attentive, and very knowledgeable to their craft. Worth every visit and memories each time!!     Excellent attentive service. Two of the fishes of the trio were too sweet. The special fish was very good as well as the snapper. Salad was very basic. Molten chocolate dessert was very good.
