We were seated in a small room with a boisterous group who had complete disregard of the other guests around them.
When we complained, the manager tried to compensate by subracting $30 from our total bill of $240. We graciously decline this offer, told them we didnt go there to get freebies; but that we will probably not go back there again since we think they were very insensitive to the comfort of other guests as long as they can cater to a big party.

Butterfish was drowning in glaze and waiter only spoke to us once after ordering our meal after asking the manager, only asked if we’d like more wine after the glasses were empty and the bill was brought.

Restaurant has gone down hill. Won’t be surprised when it closes. Poor service, disorganized , lack of customer attention. I mean really 2hrs at Roy’s for dinner is just crazy for 2 people. Really a shame. This place used to be amazing. It’s been a few mos since we dined here because al of the above was experienced then as well. Tried again and Honestly it was worse!!!

The entire experience was fabulous! We sat at the bar before dinner and had a couple of drinks as well as the lobster potstickers and shrimp mango roll (Enu?). The drinks, food and bartenders were fabulous! We then went to the dining room for dinner. My husband had the filet and lobster tail. The flavor was amazing! The portion size was perfect. I had the lobster, shrimp and scallop trio with rice and bok choy. It too was amazing. The dining staff was wonderful! Thank you for a fabulous night! My husband an I have not been out on a date together in about a year!!!! I will be back for my birthday dinner next month!!

Dined here on a Wednesday evening, which was a night that the restaurant was not overly busy. We were a group of four and received the WORST service possible. Each diner was handed a different menu, water glasses were not refilled for 30 minutes, wine order was missed, food took over 60 minutes to arrive from the time we placed our order. Combination of service hiccups between the host stand, server, bar staff, and kitchen. Would not recommend given all of the other restaurant options in the area and in Greater Tampa.

We have been going to Roy's for years and I was especially thankful when Roy's in Tampa reopened for lunch so that I could schedule business luncheons. My wife and I still go there for dinner whenever possible as it is our favorite restaurant. We also go to Roy's in any other city that we can find it. Always a great meal and service.

Maybe it was an off night but everything was bad. Hostess was nice but then listened to her berate another hostess for going home sick. Unprofessional to do at the hostess station. Sat about 5 mins after reservation time. No waiter came by. After 10 mins I grabbed a manager that was walking by. Ordered a Mai Tai. It came but tasted horrible. Like it had soy sauce in it. Server was nice and covering for whoever was supposed to have our section. Ordered our food. Waiter had to come back because they were out if chicken. My bf had to change his order. Food came, cooked well but my filet had this terrible black sauce all over it. So incredibly over salty I had to cut off the outside of my steak to eat it. In addition, it was freezing in there. There must have been a heating issue since there were room heaters placed in different areas. Overall a bad experience especially at that price point. We won't be going back.
