We love Roy's Tampa! Please reopen SOON! Everything was amazing, had the Chilean Sea Bass with spinach and potatoes, and the delicious lobster potstickers. The cake we brought in was handled perfectly and our party of nine had a lovely memorable night. Thank you

The filet was marvelous. However, weren't aware there would be a fixed menu. (In fairness, it was Valentines Day). But the options did not include our favorites. We especially missed the chocolate lava cake. Service was good,although a cocktail was forgotten. The price was a little too expensive for the options given.

Was disappointed in the food. It wasn’t horrible but it didn’t stand out. The meat was pretty good but everything else extremely mediocre. Walked out paying $300 for two people on Valentine’s Day. For that price, the food did NOT match up. Will not be returning. The couple who joined us agreed.

Our dinner was no the greatest. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes were good. The vegetables were soggy, the salad was just so so, but the red velvet cake was delicious! The waitress was good, very attentive and really knew her menu, etc. We had no idea that Roy's would be closing today 2/16/20, but found out later on from a friend on Facebook. We are sorry to see it go, although it is VERY expensive and no really worth the $300.00 bill we had.

We went here for our anniversary. The food was tasty and portioned perfectly! We were sad to hear is would be closing soon as this was the first time either of us had been to the restaurant. Great food and service made our evening perfect!

Wow... everything was much worse than it used to be. They were out of two items we ordered, the food was average at best, and the service was subpar (we did our own refills of wine and sparking water the whole night!) really disappointed

THEY ARE CLOSING THIS LOCATION SOON??Met friends for dinner. Met at the bar first for a beverage which several drinks we ordered they could not accommodate because they will be closing this location therefore they are not restocking the bar. We were seated for dinner. Seats comfortable but loud. Ordered Caesar and filet. Caesar lacked dressing and filet was smothered with a brown sauce that over powered the meat. Wish it was better but felt we paid too much for what we got.

We have been dining at Roy's for years. Roy's has always been our favorite restaurant! We are surprised and saddened to find out it is closing after Valentine's day. Good bye Tampa Roy's, we will miss you.

It’s a shame that this location is going out of business. We’ve always frequented Roy’s for special occasions so it will be missed. Hopefully a new Tampa location will open up in the future so we can continue to experience what makes this restaurant truly special.

This is usually our go-to fine dining location but on this occasion missed the mark. The scalloped potatoes were burnt, and the waitress offered to redo the order, but added that that is how they are normally cooked. The filet didn't have the usual exceptional flavor. (It was kind of "mealy". Spring rolls were bland, and the carrot served with the shellfish sampler had an unpleasant favor. We love Roy's and have had many terrific meals there, but this one was not one of them.

Anniversary dinner. They congratulated us, but no flower, no candle no complimentary champagne or dessert. Ambience & service has deteriorated over the 10 years we’ve even dining there. Still excellent food & mojitos.

We were celebrating a birthday and a new job. We weren't really able to talk among the five of us due to all of the noise. We were seated near the bar and there were young children running around screaming. We started off with a very personable, efficient female server. However, with no explanation or introduction, a male server took over. This affected our entire evening, things went downhill quickly from there. We will not be going back.

One of my wife and I's favorite places. Usually for special occasions because it is a pricier restaurant, but worth it. Sushi is delicious. I almost always get the butterfish, and my wife often does the special. We've never been disappointed and the waitstaff is phenomenal.

Service is always outstanding at this location, and it keeps me coming back hoping everything else will be on par. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, and expensive. I attempted to use an email special, but it didn’t automatically deduct discount, so I lost out on $25.00 (I was under the impression if you reserved from the email, you got the discount. Not the case). The fish was too salty, and three of us ordered this dish (so I know it wasn’t just me). Anyway, the salad was amazing (mowie wowie) and kept part of the meal satisfying.

We love Roy's, but this particular time we were s eated next to two men who were talking loudly. One of the men dropped the F bomb in almost every sentence he spoke. He was like a little boy who just found out it was a bad word so he had to use it repeatedly. Many servers walked by so someone had to have heard him. Very disappointed no one reported it to the manager so he/she could have spoken to this guy. No one wants to spend over $100 for dinner and listen to some sophomoric guy cuss the entire time. After dinner I approached the man and asked for his business card, which he said he did not have and asked if he was too loud. I replied loudness was not the issue, but his vulgarity was. He quickly apologized and our conversation was not at all contentious. He asked if he could make retribution in some way, but I said that was not necessary. Instead, I asked him to just consider those within hearing distance of his conversations next time he was in a nice restaurant.

Roy's is my favorite restaurant and we go there whenever possible. At this visit the salmon was not cooked and the waitress offered to return it but we were already being served the dessert. The appetizer and salad were excellent as well as the dessert but the entree was less than expected.

Service was Great, Keith was our server. Food was good except one of the shrimp i got from sis tasted spoilt, I spat it out, she said rest was ok. All the other dishes were delish ,lobster sushi, mash potatoes, crab fried rice,short ribs, spare ribs. soufle/ pineapple upside cake.
