Great taste, outstanding service. What else you can ask for in a restaurant. Delivered more than we expected. First time here but impressive and will be back. The soufflé is soooo awesome. Customer care is above and beyond.
The food is always fantastic at this restaurant and the service is great as well. You can order any of the entrees, sushi, appetizers and desserts and they all taste great.
Always fantastic service, food, and ambiance! Parking available in attached structure.
12th Anniversary and first date night out of the house without our boys since before the Covid epidemic. Now both of us fully vaccinated, we decided that it was time. Roy’s did not disappoint. They put an anniversary placard on our table and at the end a dessert to celebrate. We both ordered an entree new to the menu since the last time we were there. The sea bass was amazing! The whole dish was delicious and perfect. We had a great time.
Excellent service all around from entire staff. Dinner entrees were very well prepared and a delight to the taste! This is a special restaurant for us and we are very happy to be able to enjoy their hospitality once more. My family highly recommends Roy's Anaheim.
Excellent place to celebrate, especially with older family members. They loved the food as it wasn’t the typical greasy, buttery steaks and pastas like other similar restaurants next door.
Lobster Bisque, Molten Chocolate Cake
We used to go to the Woodland Hills location before they shut down. The service there was top notch so I came into this location expecting the same. While the service was good it was not the level we remember in the past. The food was amazing. Two issues that dampened our experience were that I saw the lobster add on to the filet mignon for $11 and assumed it could be added to any entree. I asked for the lobster add on for my miso butterfish and got a shock to see it was $22 instead of $11. It would have been nice to have been told that the add on was only for the filet mignon. Second we asked about substituting the mashed potatoes with the scalloped potatoes and were told it would be a $4 up charge which seemed a bit expensive to swap out one potato for another. Especially when a side which included two cakes of the potatoes was $10. It was a much better deal just to add it rather than paying for 3 people to get the up charge. I don’t believe Woodland Hills charged us to change the side. We all really enjoyed all our food. I tried the hot chocolate cake which was so good.
Mother’s Day brunch on the patio was perfect. Beautiful drinks, food, desserts, and weather. The kitchen was a bit slow, but we enjoyed the leisurely pace. Will definitely return
Great service! Yummy food!
Food was good. But the kitchen was really backed up and short staffed. Our appetizers took 45+ mins to be served. Our dinner took almost 1.5 hrs to be served. Our server did not communicate what was going on — we had to hear it from the table next to us from another, more customer service oriented server! Given the service. Given the steep prices. We won’t be returning to Roy’s. I was really disappointed in the service.
We had a really great dinner and we celebrated Mother’s Day for our wives. They really enjoyed the meal and the dessert platter at the end of dinner.
Great food and service for our anniversary
It just was not good. From the start, there was nothing I could say went right. Sorry I won't be returning.
Food is always incredible. We went to celebrate my wives birthday. The server was great. Recognize my wife. took pictures of us and overall made us feel very welcome.
Went here to celebrate my wife's birthday and Roy's brought out all the stops. As always the staff was courteous and quick, had great recommendations and took care of us.
Thanks for providing excellence!
Delicious food, yummy house martini. Really overpriced.
The evening was delightful. I was a bit disappointed with the butterfish as I had enjoyed the meal at other Toys and it was wonderful.
The service at Anaheim Roy’s is worth coming back for! From our hostess, to our waiter, to our chef, all amazing and made our dinner very enjoyable!!
Lobster bisque and desserts (chocolate lava cake and pineapple upside down) are a must!! Oh, don’t forget to order a couple drunken mules, very yummy.
Excellent service, delicious food, friendly staff = great experience.
We celebrated our anniversary here. The rib eye and macadamia-crusted Mahi were both outstanding! Literally the best steak I have EVER had and I'm a pretty good cook. The service was wonderful. Zero complaints other than the cost, lol! We originally had reservations at Orange Hill Restaurant, but after reading many negative reviews, we switched our reservation to Roy's and I am so glad we did.
Nice ambience, quality food, good drink options, great service!
Another outstanding dinner at Roy’s!
The filet and lobster combination was terrific, as well as the lobster potstickers. And, the chocolate soufflé was amazing- as always!
Great location, friendly staff and great food. They followed all Covid-safe protocols.
We had a very pleasant visit and our server as well as the entire staff was extremely friendly but also gave us our space. I have food allergies and everything was verified for my safety.
It does not seem like an Hawaiian restaurant at all. Nothing different about it. However very nice booths!
Food and cocktails were amazing. Service was impecable.
Can never go wrong with their Miso ButterFish. Wait staff was very kind and efficient. Loved the little table placard in congratulations to our anniversary dinner. A nice touch.
So happy to have Roy's open. We sat outside and were very comfortable. The tables were social distanced and our server always had his mask on when came to our table. Love the 1988 martini, which is my go to at Roy's. Service and food was excellent. I hear Mahalo Mondays are coming back! Cannot wait to return.
We had never been to Roy’s before and were very happy with the quality and taste of our food and the service was impeccable. Since our visit was when restaurants are just increasing capacity, we had no crowd or wait and the noise level was low. We plan to return in the future. The appetizer platter was a great choice and so was the seafood sampler.
Roy's staff are always extremely friendly and attentive! The food quality is exceptional and we have never left the restaurant with a disappointment. Fine dining at its absolute best!
Roy's was awesome! This was our first in person dining experience since COVID. Our server was awesome as was the entire staff. Super spread out and felt very safe. Great job!
We are never disappointed coming to Roy's for any occasion. We could go to Fleming's, Morton's or Ruth's Chris, but Roy's just tastes best.
We used to frequent the Roy’s in Newport which has a totally different vibe - it was more intimate and fancy feeling. The Anaheim location - I understand by it’s location has a wide variety of clientele that will dine. My only complaint - we were sat in the back closest to the restrooms BUT away from the doors which they proceeded to leave open and my guests and I were swatting flies all throughout our dining experience. It was unappealing. The one time the doors were closed in our two hour dining experience they were opened momentarily later by a manager.
Our server was extraordinary and I’m thankful for his attention that made our celebration worthwhile. All the appetizers are delicious and the sea bass I couldn’t eat fast enough. I highly recommend the lobster potstickers.
Food is so delicious. Very good menu and different choices from land and sea. Friendly service, professional, always great at customer service. I love going to Roy’a
It was nice
Food was not good. Very Dry. Server was not very attentive. Kind of had an attitude.
Amazing food. Excellent service. Amazing experience
Had a great dining experience. This was our first time dining in since the pandemic has started. The service and the food were excellent. We were very impressed with the quality and we I've been eating at this location for many years. I will definitely be coming back.
Hi this was my first time to Roy’s. And I want to give some input just to help you. We started with mai tais and thought they would be really good since it’s a Hawaiian restaurant. It tasted mostly like pineapple juice. Then we learned it was from a mix and not freshly made. Knowing that you had just opened a few days before that made sense that the service was a little slow. The food was good but we thought it would’ve been better at the price we paid. Hope you guys continue to have good business and success.
