First time at any Roy’s location. Food was good but the location itself felt old and not matching the expense of a meal here. Place was quite empty and lacked atmosphere . Started with calamari. Ahi poke and Brussels sprouts, all were great. Main meal was the fish of the day ahi was solid, fish was well cooked and seasoned. Deserts were good. Overall left feeling the quality and price of the food were not matched by the overall restaurant experience

Dinner and service was excellent . Server was very polite and kind very accommodating. As we told him we were going to theater after dinner. We ordered lobster potstickers amazing tri-tip. Fantastic chilean sea bass. It was great. I’ll definitely go back.!

The service was NOT as good as it was when visiting in the past. It took over an hour to yet our food. We were a table of 5 arrived at 6 PM would not seat us until everyone in our party arrived once seated took 15 minutes to get a drink and another hour to get our food. Only two of the 5 were actually full meals everyone else ordered sushi or salad and an appetizers. Not complicated

Overall I would say very good and I will recommend you establishment to friends. One negative, the wines glasses, two of them, had a bad odor; as if not cleaned properly. We were served sparkling water, so nothing to mask said foul odor. Needless to say this did preclude us from enjoying our Pelegrino, along with our dessert. We hope this was just an isolated incident. Thank you… Daniel

Roy's is fantastic, Dave our waiter had great recommendations with the right level of attention. The boat appetizers were amazing, mains were fabulous, and dessert was over the moon! If you are looking for a fabulous restaurant and not price conscious, Roy's is it!!

Great service. The food was very tasty, except we asked for the Sunday brunch Loco Moco patty to be cooked medium rare and it was at least medium-well, almost well done. It made the Wagyu patty more dry, and the dish in general lacked a little flavor. They were able to make us 5 chocolate lava soufflés when they usually aren’t ready until later in the day, so that was much appreciated. The soufflé is SO good! Glad that this Roy’s is still around!

Staffs are awesome. The Chilean sea bass was excellent. Drinks was pre made so that was okay. Appetizers needs help. Ordered the appetizers for 2. Ribs was very salty. Egg rolls and dumplings was okay. The tuna cut rolls wasn’t good I guess because I know good sushi. Maui salad I don’t care for either. I expected it to be good, but the lobster bisque was excellent and so was the chocolate soufflé. We were sat in a table where there’s servers were talking pretty loud and we asked to be moved away from where they do their meetings. Will only come back for the sea bass and the soufflé.

We enjoyed our time celebrating our daughters birthday. Lindsay and Christina made the evening perfect. Please bring back the Roy's Mai Tai (not as sugary), before covid. The corrected mai tai is too sweet and does not use the black strap rum. Up charge if you must.

Easy parking. Nice host greeting. Fast seating. Attentive service. Shrimp appetizer was fair, but Atlantic salmon entree was cooked perfectly. Chocolate soufflé with raspberry coulis was outstanding for dessert. The fine dinner start to vacation. Bravo to the serving team.

We have always loved Roy’s for special occasion, but we had some disappointment in the noise level and sense of over crowding of tables. Both my husband and I had to maneuver between guests and tables to reach the restroom. Service and food was excellent.

It was my first visit but my wife was a big fan of other (now closed) locations. Food was fantastic. Server was very knowledgeable and good, had solid advice etc., though not right on top of it with drinks and whatnot. After a long hot day you couldn’t refill my water often enough! It doesn’t seem on the surface like a super kid friendly place, but it’s a block from Disneyland so obviously it is, and they handled the kids as well as or better than any restaurant you’ll fine. They had kid’s apps (edamame, apple slices and veggies with ranch) at the table almost immediately, which is a freaking great idea. Overall, great experience.

Upholstery and carpeting is Very old musty and the upholstered backing of the booth we were seated I nearest to kitchen smelled very bad and the dust build up on the top seams really took away from the meal- almost asked to change to another location but just leaned away from the material .. very surprised that owners/managers did not upgrade over the pandemic Everything else was excellent Have been coming here every for past 16 years ..

Have been going to Roy’s since his first restaurants in Hawaii. Has been our family go to ever since they opened on the main land. Unfortunately the menu had gotten too small. Not much for beef lovers and no chicken. If they want to be a seafood restaurant need a little variety. That being said the food and service were both very good.
