RockCreek Seafood & Spirits
Our menu centers around globally sourced seafood from well managed fisheries; with offerings of local Northwest familiars like crab, oysters and mussels, to more tropical fish like Kona Kampachi or Hawaiian Ono, and East Coast staples like Striped Bass. Our preparations emphasize fresh ingredients that arrive daily, and pronounced flavors from around the world.
Our urban-industrial two-story ‘fishing lodge’ was built with local and reclaimed resources by Dovetail Construction and Marian Built. Our tables were crafted from bark-beetle pine, and we even found a home for our favorite re-purposed farm equipment! Our space includes the main dining area, our killer bar, a large modern patio and an upstairs loft and private dining room.
What Insiders Are Saying
Rockcreek Seafood & Spirits in Fremont is a great place for fresh seafood, and pretending like you caught your own fish in the wild.
Delicious seafood, many gluten free options and a knowledgeable and friendly server.
Great food and the service was paced well. Love!
It was our anniversary and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to celebrate! The concierge to bussers and everyone in between worked together like a well oiled machine. The food was off the chart delicious - and was probably the best meal ive had in Seattle. Cudos to Rockcreek for an experience second to none!
We had a delightful meal. We got mostly small plates that were all unique and delicious. The wait staff was kind to course it out for us so the hot food remained hot and the cold foods remained cold while we were trying everything without feeling rushed. Cocktails were excellent as well. Highly recommend.
Great place that never disappoints. One of our favorite restaurants in all of Seattle!!
We had an anniversary dinner to end our wonderful vacation in Seattle and Alaska. I found Rock Creek online and it exceeded our expectations!
Each dish was delicious! Great combination of fabulous food, friendly and attentive wait staff, and fun vibe. Highly recommended!
The food is creative and delicious, yet the sound level is so intense that it is hard to have a relaxing evening. Our service was lackluster and inattentive. Our waiter did not check back to see how everything was going and since the wrong beer had been delivered, we had to flag someone else down. We had made our reservation a month in advance, and noted that it was a birthday celebration, yet the two table options presented were by the door and service station. I had really looked forward to coming back here after our first experience, but now will explore other places.
The drinks were delicious but inconsistent--my Brassie was about an inch deeper than my dining companion's.
Dinner was amazing as always, I come for brunch often. It’s a favorite for sure!
A gourmet restaurant in a very casual setting. Food cannot be topped anywhere else in Seattle
My favorite place in Seattle! The food is amazing, the atmosphere is charming and the service is excellent.
We dine here several times a year, and RockCreek is one of our all-time favorites. Tonight was uncommonly busy, and yet both service and food were 100% on point throughout the night. We weren’t rushed in any way, our server was ever friendly and accommodating, and the food was stellar, as always. That it happened to be a special occasion for us only made us appreciate the outstanding teamwork all the more. Thank you!!
We ordered food similar to the table next to us so there was confusion with server being the food. Food took too long to arrive. Ordered the steak which only had 4 small asparagus, a small smear of corn purée, and a very chewy fatty piece of steak. For spending almost $200 for dinner for two people for our anniversary this was a bad experience. Poor service, long wait, so loud you couldn’t hear the other person, and food quality as well as portions, make it a place we would never return too or recommend. The table next to us also had similar issues with long wait and food confusion.
Seafood was very good.
very high-quality food, very high-quality staff, and just a great menu to choose from that is focused on seafood and the main ingredients without a lot of excess or flourish. This is a great place to have a relaxed meal but enjoy some of the best oysters you’re going to find in Seattle. The servers are some of the best in the world at what they do. Seriously.
Our waitress was the best.
Great seafood and cocktails. Pricy but also high end.
Many of the small plates are creative and taste wonderful.
Wonderful meal again. I am so glad that I got the opaka. Rich & meaty, on a bed of creamy grits with nice roasted tomatoes. Super-flavorful.
If you have four people, consider the whole branzino for an appetizer.
The choices from menu were great. We shared the small plates. The hamachi, oysters, ceasar salad, and dessert were wonderful. It was delectable seafood preparations.
Great meal. Worth the 12 Dollar Uber from downtown Seattle
Spectacular food and service. A BIT loud, but not too distracting. LOVED the music!!
Very nice brunch
This was by far our best meal in Seattle. Calamari and Black Cod-superlative. Outstanding, low-key, knowledgeable and very friendly service. Industrial, cool vibe only added to the meal. Usually, as a New Orleanian, my usual high food standards get killed, but RockCreek did not disappoint in the least. Can’t wait to return.
Great cocktails, really thoughtful and tasty small plates. If you like calamari try theirs, it's creative and delicious! We didn't have a full entree but would come back to do so in a heartbeat.
We enjoyed our meals. RockCreek has a wonderful selection of fish dishes, all unique and well prepared. The $30 corkage fee is excessive. Otherwise, nice place.
Service was unfriendly. The food (fish) was incredibly salty, almost like soaked in brine. It was very busy and noisy. I won’t go back there.
Love this restaurant. I would highly recommend the cauliflower salad and black cod. Pay for the bread.
We wanted excellent fish, and we got it. We were not expecting the entrees to be served with no vegetables and no starch. Fortunately our server alerted us as we were making our selections. It is really a $$$-$$$$ restaurant if you want a reasonable meal, and we are not big eaters. The black cod and pasta dishes we ordered were very tasty. Everything was very fresh.
This place was nothing but awesome! Oysters were a great starter and the octopus was prepared perfectly! The black cod was super flavorful and succulent with tons of herbs and a nice sweet broth that made the dish! The cocktails were very good as well! I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a great seafood dinner!
As always, the entree was perfectly prepared and melted in my mouth with all flavors coming at me! Thanks to the chefs and kitchen for accommodating my highly restrictive dietary needs -- I'm so looking forward to resuming enjoyment of the full breadth of flavors complementary to the specific tasty fish.
Fathers Day Brunch at RockCreek Seafood and Spirits was wonderful. We showed up early for our reservation and were accommodated immediately. Service was attentive and the food wonderful. Don’t hesitate to book for your special occasion.
We came for lunch but they only had brunch menu. Fortunately they did have some great alternatives and were also serving oysters!
Our bartender/server was Dave. He was absolutely wonderful and made good recommendations. We loved each dish that we tried and will definitely be back!
This restaurant knows how to produce an excellent menu for seafood, but execution by the kitchen is superb and certainly among the best in the city. Combine with attentive service (the waitpersons get a workout carrying trays to the upstairs dining area: think tip), an excellent wine/cocktail/beverage list and great value for the price and this becomes "the go-to" seafood restaurant in Seattle. Our only opportunity for improvement suggestion is to rethink the short uninspired dessert menu which doesn't pair with the rest of the food and beverage offerings.
Food was good and the service was quick and efficient. The meal was a little pricey for the portions.
Sat by office/bathroom. Were out of halibut so had to go with another choice. Expensive for value. Dessert was good.
One of my favorite restaurants! Great food and friendly stuff
