Roadhouse Boulder Depot
Thanks for opening back up and a good meal and great dinning experience.
First time visit was very enjoyable! Food was great. Ambiance enjoyable and service was top notch! We'll be back. Thanks for a great experience.
Our service was good but the kitchen seemed to be struggling. Some confusion on the salad and a Cuban that came out burned to a crisp didn’t leave a great impression.
Food was excellent, prices were low, service was perfect!
First time there and it was great food, good service and a nice restaurant!
brought a group of 10 co-workers for lunch. Had some fun appetizers and everyone enjoyed their entrees. It's a bit noisy but a fun table right by the kitchen. Highly recommended!
Service was very poor, 15 minutes before anyone came to the table, 45 minutes before drinks were served and they were simple drinks beer, wine and one old fashion. We had an 8 person table, one end was asked about appetizers and the rest were not. Apps came out before food, poor time management, when asked the waitress laughed off the delay. The excuse was the bartender was training,. On Saturday night packed house. So I watched him keep teaching instead of putting him to work. Again Poor time management. The laughing about the situation was not good.
Had dinner at Roadhouse Depot on Saturday night. Booked thru OpenTable but they were at least 30 minutes behind so we sat at bar. The restaurant was slammed and everybody was deep in the weeds, i.e. late and hurried. My wife had their Jam Burger it was excellent, good sized and great fries. I had the Tuna Poke salad, it was good but had asked someone next to me and they said not much Poke, so I ordered mine with an extra Poke side, that was perfect, but you would think they would have some real wasabi and ginger.... not the case. It was a night of hurry up and wait. Bartender apologized more times than I can remember, but service never improved. Check your check. Got my check and it was off on 4 of the 6 line items, different menu and register prices, that is weird and unacceptable. Would definitely go back and maybe service at a table is better than at the bar, but they left us no choice......
My friend and I went to the Depot for dinner. I’ve been many times, my friend for lunch. I had the lemon chicken and she had a pulled pork sandwich. It took awhile to get our food. No problem with that. When our food arrived the pulled pork sandwich was cold. She sent it back for a warm sandwich and when it came back the asparagus was gone. Seriously? The lemon chicken was good. I had to ask a couple of times for extra lemon ( personal preference). The sauce on the chicken was thicker than it has been in the past and I would’ve liked more. The pulled pork sandwich, I was told, was just ok.
We decided to get dessert. We both ordered the peach cobbler. It was not that great. My friend found 2 slices of peach in her cobbler, I found 4. Very thick and heavy cobbler. I won’t order it again.
Having been here before, this Saturday evening left me disappointed.
We showed up at 12:15 pm on a Monday with a group of 6, WITH RESERVATIONS. We were seated immediately, however we were told that it would be 15 minutes before a server could speak to us. 20 minutes later, one showed up and took our order. Our food Arrived at 1:40pm, 1.5 hours after we walked into the door. We had sandwiches / burgers. It was the longest most incredibly frustrating lunch ever!
Took our kids out to dinner before they head back to college and everyone enjoyed their meals! We will be back
it's just too inconsistent. maybe it's the Monday crew but it was not good this week.
We love this place. My cobb salad was really delicious and big! We've eaten here several times and my husband and friends usually get the prime rib sandwich. In the past it was excellent, tonight, the meat was a bit fatty. We let our server know. Other than that it's a great place!
Great place for a group. We always love everything we order, especially the flatbread and fish tacos.
We had a really nice brunch at Roadhouse Boulder Depot. Good GF options, good drinks, and good service.
I won't be frequenting this locale anymore. I've eaten here religiously for a few years and unfortunately this visit was the last one. I chose Boulder Depot for my Corporate Christmas party. We arrived to find our table had been taken by another group of 10 people claiming to be me. This took 20 minutes to resolve, which didn't make any sense to me. How was there not another table for 10 if someone else thought they had a reservation? Why wasn't this group removed from MY TABLE?
Once we were seated in the middle of the venue we were served the wrong pitchers of beer. The appetizers and Entrees were as good as to be expected. However, when I tried to pay for the final bill the manager/ or my waiter voided out a pre-paid debit card that my corporation had afforded us to pay for this exact event. Forcing me to pay out of pocket for my entire table.
Long story short, I paid out of pocket for an experience that was aggressively underwhelming, I didn't get what I paid for in any sense of the word. My table was wrong, my beer was wrong, and I had to pay for everything because apparently pre-paid gift cards are unheard of.
Never in my life have I looked at a 300 dollar tab and thought " I shouldn't have to pay this".
I want a full refund. Until that happens you won't see another dime, corporate dine in, or recommendation out of me, which is sad because I loved going here.
Nice place to get a lunch reservation for a group. Good quality food and a decent ambiance.
Great place to gather with friends for a boisterous evening.
Awesome experience. We love this place. The potato chips and onion dip are so yummy!
Slow service and a very mediocre $37 filet dinner made this a less than optimal dining experience. I’d put the steak meal quality at $25-27, not $37. Very disappointing.
very slow service. nice server. good food. With a little bit better management attention this place could really take off.
Had to wait for a table when we arrived on time for reservation.
Comfortable table, good atmosphere, not loud. Fun to see sports on TV in background. Service was excellent, attentive but not intrusive, helpful with menu choices. Food was good, everyone was satisfied. Ended up spending more than we thought it would be, but mostly satisfied. Would come again.
Nice casual atmosphere, good food at a fair price. Service was fine, but not exceptional. Great burger with short ribs on top.
As someone with celiac, I was very grateful for the extensive gluten-free menu that even included gluten-free beer. The food was inventive, well-prepared, and delicious. The service was very friendly and attentive. They did a great job restoring and decorating this historic building. The place had a festive atmosphere. I look forward into going back when I visit Boulder again!
A disappointing dinner. On a slow Sunday night, after being promptly seated, it took a half hour to get drinks to the table. Had to flag down the hostess to help out. Never received the salad course several in our party had ordered. Brie appetizer was excellent, burgers and salad courses were fine. But left with a bad taste in our mouths over the poor service.
Overall it was a good experience. The food was good and the ambiance is a fun, unique vibe. Our service was a bit slow and the restaurant was loud but it was a Saturday night during football so that is to be expected. We ate as a family with our 8 and 13 year old daughters and they enjoyed it as well.
We went to Roadhouse with friends before the Buff football game. This just might be the best brunch in Boulder. The bottomless mimosas and bloody mary bar simply can't be topped. The food is awesome with reasonable portions--not the size that would feed a small village. For me, that's a plus! Our server was great but they were understaffed so it was a bit slow--not her fault. It was the perfect pre-game meal.
The nacho were the best
Everyone enjoyed their food. Service was excellent. Be sure to make a reservation. We were fortunate to get a reservation for an odd number for some of the downtown restaurant would not take a table for 5. One of our guest worked for the railroad so he was very impressed!
Always enjoy eating at the Roadhouse Boulder Depot. Good good, warm ambiance, and typically attentive service. Our server, Joshua, was another fine example of RBD service: professional, courteous, and engaging. Highly recommend to anyone looking to "step up" from a traditional brasserie or sports bar... but without spending a fortune.
Sweet waitress, nice and clean, food and drinks were good. Children's menu well priced. We were celebrating two legitimate birthdays, and they didn't offer any perks (like free desert) for guests with celebrations. Just a FYI
The food was great. Unfortunately we were not happy with our service. I stood at the hostess spot to be seated for about 10 mins without being acknowledged. Multiple people walked by and even used the computer in front of me without even a simple “hello”. When we were finally seated, it took about 15 mins to be acknowledged AGAIN! We were finally able to place our drink and food orders. Then once our food came out we sat there and waited for utensils, we actually had to ask our waiter TWICE to get utensils. Our two daughters were so hungry and grown tired of waiting the ate HALF of their pancakes with just their hands. Then when we were finally done and she cleared our table, she never came back. We had to ask two other people to grab our checks for us. Our waitress did not come back to our table till after the gentleman completed our bill.
The food was delicious but the customer service was very disappointing and needs some work.
Delicious food and great atmosphere! We will be back for sure!
Marissa R was the hostess with the mostest! She’s amazing!

Have eaten here before especially when staying at neighbor Hyatt Place. Easy walk from hotel. Enjoyed drinks, salads, and dinner. Excellent visit.
Bartender read our vibe really well and let us have our space and catch up but was there when we needed her. Great first experience :)
We had a large party and the accommodated us perfectly. Our service was wonderful and our waiter was attentive and funny. He even took a moment to come outside and take a photo of us all.
Despite having reser
Haven't had that good of food at that price for a while. It was delicious and didn't take forever. Service was excellent and I would come here again. One of the best places in boulder to get an affordable, good sized, delicious steak. New favorite date night venue for me and my wife.
John, the bartender, was awesome .. attentive and personable
