We sat in the bar, but not at the bar. A bit noisy but it was primarily from 3 people at the bar. The food was excellent, Monday is Prime Rib special night. Prime Rib was perfect, don't care for Yorkshire pudding. Fresh shredded horseradish is terrific. Tyler was an excellent server.

Great meal, great service! Server Kelly and her busser were on point. Onion rings were fab as advertised and proteins were cooked perfectly. Delicata squash side was imaginative and executed well. Perfect celebration destination!!

We were so pleased to find the things we used to love about the Ringside are still there. Onion rings, red booths, quiet enough to have a conversation, professional staff, and of course, wonderful steak.

Onion rings were great as usual however the Caesar salad was flavorless and the filet was tender but not very flavorful, the horseradish helped. The bone marrow was delicious. I’ve been going here for decades, this is the first time I felt it wasn’t worth the expense.

I have been to all the steakhouses in town, but I keep coming back to Ringside. The service is incredibly attentive without being overbearing. The filet I had may have been the best I've ever eaten and the wine list is amazing. Fantastic!

Always enjoy visiting this restaurant. Service is excellent and the menu always good. However, this time the steaks were not outstanding (for 2 of the 3 ordered) compared with similar restaurants visited recently, but I hope this is a one-off anomaly and we'd still go back. Onion rings outstanding as always. Fries disappointing - overbaked and oversalted.

Food was excellent. Service was superb! Old school feel with cool vibe. We were seated in the bar tables and they are too close to each other. Bumped by a chair several times. Only complaint. One of the best steaks in Portland!

Ringside is the consummate classic American steakhouse dining experience. Everything was executed with attention to details and with a focus on providing a wonderful evening. The food, drink, ambiance and service were first class. Most of all, my ribeye steak was prepared perfectly! Ringside exceeded my expectations -- I look forward to my next visit.

Ordered prime filet medium rare but was more like medium. Another person ordered his steak medium and it was closer to medium well. Expectation considering the price would be perfectly cooked. Service, drinks, appetizers were outstanding

Prime Rib special on Mondays is wonderful and a full meal, including a delicious and quite large house salad and a popover. Ringside also makes/serves great drinks and have the best onion rings anywhere (including my many years in NY City). As important, the service and setting live up to the food (and price).

Absolutely the most classic Portland restaurant there is. The onion rings. Best in the world. Perfect steak. Perfect mash. Perfect fries. Caesar is average. Bread is great ! Sit at the bar for the full experience. Otherwise get a table if there are more than 2 of you. Order the hot fudge sundae not on menu for dessert. Cause you’re cool like that.

As always Ringside never disappoints. Every time I’m in Portland Ringside is a must to meet up with a friend in the bar, have a phenomenal steak along with my all time favorite drink, the Paula Shultz. I will absolutely be back again next visit
