   We had a Birthday celebration for our daughters 30th. We had a wonderful time, Food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Our server was excellent and very attentive.

   Make sure you get the correct steak! Ordered the Rib Eye, got a New York (?)... ate it anyway as it was delicious!!! Service is impeccable, the food offerings are outstanding, and the bartender make a GREAT "Blood & Sand"! Our go-to place for special occasions!

   We sat at a table in the bar and experienced excellent service from Susan, she recommend a perfect bottle of wine to accompany our entrees. Everything was great, cocktails, food, attentive service. I look forward to my next meal at Ringside!

   Great experience at the Ringside. My wife and I both got steaks, which were excellent and perfectly prepared. We also shared an excellent side dish. The service was great--prompt, friendly, professional, but not overdone.

    I had the best steak I've ever had at Ringside last night for dinner. Highly recommend the Waygu A4 Olive Fed Tenderloin. Holy moly it was delicious. Service was outstanding, oysters were so good, wine recommended was spot on. Thank you very much for a very memorable dinner and special occasion with my fiance. We can't wait to come back!

    Outstanding service and ambiance. Both of our steaks (Filet and Ribeye) were prepared to perfection (and we have had a lot of steaks in our lives). Tableside attentiveness was wonderful too. We have dined at restaurants throughout the world who claim to specialize in Steaks and the Ringside restaurant remains at the top of OUR list.

    Always a special event dining at Ringside! Attentive staff. Wonderful food. The steak is amazing, perfectly cooked. Delicious sides for sharing. Extensive wine list. Great cocktails. Ambiance is quiet for a restaurant.

    My waiter certainly made the experience. He was kind and well-informed about the menu. He was also appropriately tentative to the table. All the staff I interacted with was friendly and professional. Compared to some other places in Portland, I have had better quality for the price. The food was certainly good! But Portland overflowing with options so it is a tough market.

    Reservation at 7:30. Arrived at 6:30 and snagged 3 seats at the bar. Sat early at 7:15. Great food, drinks and service. This place never disappoints. Will come back soon.

    The steak was wonderful, and the service was exceptional. Very nice ambience, a real "special occasion" place. The bread was mediocre to untasty, and the garden salad was truly uninteresting. Not many vegetables, and barely any dressing. The steak and potato side were great, however.

    We’ve been going to The Ringside since 1977 as a couple. I’ve been going since 1971! We came for our 44th anniversary. Not much changes from the food, service, ambiance, music. All of the highest caliber of excellent.

    The Ringside is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. We have been dining there for over 40 years, and the quality of the food and service has stayed amazing all that time. If anything, it has gotten better!

    Ruth’s Chris is good, Morton’s is good, but this place is the OG! A fantastic experience all around. Wonderful service, delightful atmosphere and incredible food. If you’re trying to decide where to go, trust me, this is it!!!

    Beware of their halibut special! It was mushy and flavorless. Don’t order lemon tart. Stick to their old faithful steaks and you will be pleased.

    If you are looking for a special nught out there is no better palce in Portland the Ringside Uptwon location. Food is fanominal, service is spectacular and the old world charm of a special night out eminated from the building.

    We went here for our anniversary, we were excited to try Ringside as we had never been there before. The service here is top notch. Upon arrival, we were greeted with complementary valet parking. The wait staff was very attentive and on top of it and the onion rings were really good, but our steaks were not cooked to our liking, and my wife mentioned this to the staff and they offered her a free complementary desert on the house. However, if this is the specialty and star of the show for a steakhouse, we were disappointed with how our steaks were prepared. For anniversary they gave us complementary crème brûlée, which was excellent, and my wife raved about it. She also said the garlic mashed potatoes were excellent. Overall, I am rating this a three star experience out of 5. For the price it just didn’t meet our expectations.

    The RingSide is always our go-to for family celebrations. Our kids have grown up going there and now they have lovely memories to reflect upon!! The food, service, ambience - all 10 out of 10!

    Fantastic service. Very attentive to any requests. All six of our party had the meals served at the same time, which was very nice. Place is very dark. Would be nice to have a bit more light at the table. Neighboring table had to use their phone's flashlight to see the menu.
