It was our 30th anniversary so we decided to go to our favorite restaurant.
The food and the service are always spot on. We’ve been going for years and look forward to our next visit.
Our favorite neighborhood restaurant!
Everything was great: the food, service and cleanliness. Absolutely love this place.
We are so happy 😀 that Rincon 38 is open again! It’s our all time favorite restaurant of Hector’s. The food was delicious as always. We will be here to support you! Thank you 😊
We love our local Rincon! We always let the servers order for us and they do an amazing job.
The menu is scaled back but most of the favorites are still on it and they haven’t missed a beat. Get a reservation and go.
We loved our experience here! The food was amazing, our server was spectacular, and their patio seating was perfect. It’s so nice to be able to try multiple small plates.
Fantastic food and service. We sat outside due to the COVID restrictions. Get the octopus. Wonderful
The perfect summer evening on the patio. Great service. Nicely spaced out delivery of our various dishes, each being delicious and lovely. Always great to share these small plates. Enjoyed the carafe of sangria with apples! Thanks for a fun night out.
Outstanding once again! We were so happy that Rincon 38 opened and we could eat outside. The piquillos, datilles and octopus are my favorites. Wine selection is excellent. We love all of Hector’s restaurants!
Friendly waitstaff, good tapas, and delicious sangria make this restaurant a regular for me.
Love Rincon 38! Definitely one of our favorites. The food is outstanding and the service is impeccable. Great experience for a special night out!
Rincon 38 is one of our favorite neighborhood places. It always has wonderful food & service. We love it!
We had a great time here. We ordered several different tapas plates and enjoyed all of them. The restaurant itself has a great vibe, friendly staff, delicious wine and tasty food. Highly recommend the halibut, the dates, and any of the vegetarian tapas (esp. the one with honey black truffles!)
Always wonderful food and service. Enjoyed the $33 for 3 tapas & 3 wine pairings., as well as happy hour.. Delicious choices!
Excellent, as we have come to expect. Service was particularly good - friendly, good suggestions, flexible.
The food was beyond amazing!
I've been going here occasionally for over 5 years, and every experience has been phenomenal! I love how it's like stepping in to Spain. The service is always fantastic and the waiter (owner?) pays attention to your needs, reactions to every dish, and caters to your reason for dining well. It was my friend's birthday, and she only really drinks chardonnay so I chose a place that didn't have chardonnay on the menu to make her try something new. The server was killing it with the wine recommendations - she loved every one! I like the partially open kitchen because you see how quickly the dishes are made and immediately served to you. The wine selection is like none other - types you've never heard of unless you're a somm or an Iberophile!
I'm sure all the food is made in house and fresh. My only complaint is this place is I wish I had room in the budget to eat here more! The food itself is always delicious, but the portions are on the smaller side for the price.
always a pleasure
A hidden gem. Service is first rate - and each item we ordered was a nice surprise. Our waiter’s suggestions were always the right ones.
The food is amazing and the service is exceptional. I highly recommend this neighborhood gem!
Awesome Good tapas place b
Fantastic place, super quaint and the food was as advertised! We sat at the bar, to be a little closer and feel less crowded. Tables are quite close together, so just be prepared for having close neighbors but all in all, very well worth it. Would go back in a heartbeat!
My parents have eaten here a few times and gave us a gift certificate. We really liked the food, especially the meat paella and the dates. It was fun to share the dishes and try a whole bunch of different things. Sangria was also good and my husband liked it because it wasn't obnoxious and sweet. The tables were pretty close to each other, but it wasn't full so we had some elbow room (and a wall next to us). We would go here again.
Food is always great and never changing which eliminates surprises. Occasional new items but with the existing menu, they’re not needed. It is our go to restaurant and recommend it to everyone.
A hidden gem in south Minneapolis and one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, Rincon 38 is a deliciously authentic restaurant from a culinary culture that should be higher up on people's radar. It's clear that the food is made with a great amount of passion, and it boasts flavor to match. Dishes as ordinary as patatas bravas become high-brow in the hands of the master chefs, and food as adventurous as octopus is made approachable (and in this humble reviewer's opinion, the best dish on the menu). If Spanish food is what you're looking for, Rincon 38 is simply the best.
wonderful attentive service
Great options and variety of food. We enjoyed all our selections. Restaurant is loud in my opinion but sitting at the bar got us away from some of the noise. Will come back
We really enjoyed all 5 plates that we tried. Our favorites were the Queso Frito and the Plato Iberico.
Loved every dish we tried. Scallops were amazing😄!
Loved our wAitress. Especially liked the roasted cauliflower.
So nice to get to taste lots of different dishes, all of them unique, delicious, and expertly prepared
Always fabulous food in a quaint space
What a cozy date night place! We got there shortly after they opened so there weren't many people and it was quiet. The food was excellent with a huge variety on the menu. On the pricey side, though.
Everything we had was fabulous. We had a group of four people so were able to try a lot of different foods to share. One in our group was a vegetarian who eats fish and we found that there were more than enough options that everybody enjoyed, even the meat eaters.
We ordered 6 different plates and all were delicious. Service was attentive but not overly. Good selection of drinks. Small, cozy space.
We asked the wait staff to assist us ordering. He did a fabulous job. Great food. We'll be back!
Rincon 38 never disappoints! The variety of tapas is outstanding. My favorites were the piquillo peppers and the sea bass with polenta.
