Fantastic place, super quaint and the food was as advertised! We sat at the bar, to be a little closer and feel less crowded. Tables are quite close together, so just be prepared for having close neighbors but all in all, very well worth it. Would go back in a heartbeat!
My parents have eaten here a few times and gave us a gift certificate. We really liked the food, especially the meat paella and the dates. It was fun to share the dishes and try a whole bunch of different things. Sangria was also good and my husband liked it because it wasn't obnoxious and sweet. The tables were pretty close to each other, but it wasn't full so we had some elbow room (and a wall next to us). We would go here again.
Food is always great and never changing which eliminates surprises. Occasional new items but with the existing menu, they’re not needed. It is our go to restaurant and recommend it to everyone.
A hidden gem in south Minneapolis and one of the best restaurants I've ever been to, Rincon 38 is a deliciously authentic restaurant from a culinary culture that should be higher up on people's radar. It's clear that the food is made with a great amount of passion, and it boasts flavor to match. Dishes as ordinary as patatas bravas become high-brow in the hands of the master chefs, and food as adventurous as octopus is made approachable (and in this humble reviewer's opinion, the best dish on the menu). If Spanish food is what you're looking for, Rincon 38 is simply the best.
wonderful attentive service
Great options and variety of food. We enjoyed all our selections. Restaurant is loud in my opinion but sitting at the bar got us away from some of the noise. Will come back
We really enjoyed all 5 plates that we tried. Our favorites were the Queso Frito and the Plato Iberico.
Loved every dish we tried. Scallops were amazing😄!
Loved our wAitress. Especially liked the roasted cauliflower.
So nice to get to taste lots of different dishes, all of them unique, delicious, and expertly prepared
Always fabulous food in a quaint space
What a cozy date night place! We got there shortly after they opened so there weren't many people and it was quiet. The food was excellent with a huge variety on the menu. On the pricey side, though.
Everything we had was fabulous. We had a group of four people so were able to try a lot of different foods to share. One in our group was a vegetarian who eats fish and we found that there were more than enough options that everybody enjoyed, even the meat eaters.
We ordered 6 different plates and all were delicious. Service was attentive but not overly. Good selection of drinks. Small, cozy space.
We asked the wait staff to assist us ordering. He did a fabulous job. Great food. We'll be back!
Rincon 38 never disappoints! The variety of tapas is outstanding. My favorites were the piquillo peppers and the sea bass with polenta.
Tiny space and a little cramped- had 10 tapas would highly recommend 6-7 that we had. A very good value!
Delicious tapas. We ordered 4 plates for two of us and it was plenty. Excellent service.
It is always a pleasure to eat at Rincon. The service is very attentive with the staff willing to help you make your food and wine selections. For us, the flavors are unique to Rincon and we keep going there for our special occasions. We will be back.
This little place feels great to be in. The service is fantastic and the tapas-style of eating is really fun. The food was delicious and so was the wine.
The food at Rincon 38 is inventive and tasty. One thing I wish they would ask about is the sangria; they brought it in a carafe with ice and ice in the glasses too. I prefer it without ice. Otherwise, it was a delightful evening with a very skilled and attentive server.
The food was reminiscent of my Spanish favorites. The staff is sweet, and the timing of the food was perfect.
The best Tapas I've had with quite the extensive menu to choose from. Had a very authentic Spanish feel to the menu and ambiance. Highly recommend. I will be back.
Great food, great service from our waiter Fernando
New Year’s Eve; it was busy!
Marcelo was a fantastic server and the food was delicious!!
Wonderful date night with very tasty food and superb wine. Definitely going back!
I had the mero and the lobster and both were delicious. Service was friendly but unobtrusive and very quick as well. I came in at a time the restaurant wasn't very busy, so the place was quite quiet. It felt warm and I enjoyed the music they played in the background.
My daughter and I enjoyed Rincon 38 very much. Our server was very helpful and friendly. The dishes and the wine were very good. Overall a very good neighborhood dining experience.
Best place ever! Food is delicious. Atmosphere is fun. Sangria is refreshing. I’d eat here every night if I won the lottery!
We attended the Bites and Bubbles event. What a fabulous evening!! The food was sublime; perfect seasoning, creative presentation, and delectable tastes. We also loved the bubbly drinks - generous pours. Can't wait until the next event though we'll visit Rincon before that.
Wonderful. Chef Hector is fenomenal!
We had a wonderful Date Night, service was superb, Tapas were new and unique as was the wine list.
The food is delicious, plate presentation is sophisticated, variety of interesting tapas, and good service.
Great food to share with friends. Loved the cauliflower, sea bass, and octopus.
I’ve been to most of the great restaurants in the Twin Cities and Rincon is my favorite. It’s warm and cozy. The food is amazing! So is the wine. Sergio is the perfect host and the entire staff are gracious and knowledgeable. Love This Place!
Excellent tapas as always, great wine list, unobtrusive service.
Wonderful food! They have the best Sangria. It is a small restaurant and is cozy. It’s good to know it’s costly so you can prepare and enjoy!
Great food and great service - will definitely return!
Great place for Spanish tapas in a relaxed atmosphere. Cozy ambience. Highly recommend!
Great food. Nice people. Some of the dishes needed salt. Some of the were very similar
