Wonderful Thanksgiving meal with turkey , dressing, and vegetables. turkey was too salty and that was our only complaint. One of our favorite restaurants and we are coming back soon.
Thanksgiving dinner at 5:30pm. One of the best Thanksgiving meals we have had. Turkey was superb as was the pecan pie. Nice selection of starters and sides too.
Excellent food, friendly professional service. Food is immaculate. Ellie is superb.
This was our first visit based on a personal recommendation by a trusted friend. Rey’s met and exceeded our expectations, it was a delightful experience, and our server Kelly T was outstanding, friendly, courteous and highly accommodating, I would recommend requesting her…she is charming.
This restaurant is inviting and the quality and service, a credit to the management by their need to satisfy their patrons. The food is excellent and service is timely, every need anticipated and met, from the server, to the busboy to the Manager, they all outperformed and offered an incredible experience.
We encountered a minor glitch, Kelly and her Manager both handled it discreetly. We plan to return very soon.
Everyone is always friendly and know what they are doing.
Service is excellent and I always recommend Rey's to all my friends.
Our server Christine was a real delight and only added to the very enjoyable evening.
Great Thanksgiving meal!
Dinner was very good and service was outstanding. The prices on drinks were a bit too high for what we had.
i would recommend this restaurant but alert on the prices.
Mr. Rey and his staff was spectacular… we def. Go back
Dinner at Reys for my father's birthday was outstanding as always. Easily one of the top 2 or 3 restaurants in Raleigh
Our server was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. The owner stopped by to greet us. It was our anniversary. We were greeted with a nice note and at the end of the meal, they gave us a free dessert. The atmosphere was quiet and attentive. We were not rushed. It was simply a very enjoyable evening.
Food was excellent. My husband’s steak and sides came out and the waitress apologized that my chicken Caesar salad wasn’t ready yet. She said the reason was that the chicken rang up as a $22 up charge and the manager was getting that fixed for us since that was ridiculous. It took a while for my salad to come out and the explanation didn’t make a lot of sense. When we received the bill, the chicken was still a $22 up charge. It was just thin strips of grilled chicken and nothing special. If she hadn’t specifically said something about this to us, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. But $32 for a salad seems a little silly.
Our Anniversary dinner at Reys was a disaster and I don’t think we will be returning to Reys anytime soon. We had a 9:00 pm reservation…..got seated at a table in the bar area…a party of 3 was seated a little while after we were seated. They took their order first…..our order 2nd…their dinner arrived first…they ate and as they were finishing their meal…ours arrived. My steak ordered Medium Well came pretty much raw on the inside….the waiter realized it was cooked incorrect and sent it back….2nd steak came barley cooked as well….I asked to have it taken off my bill and just wanted to eat my sides and salad and be done….Manager came over and talked me into another steak and he would make sure it was right…..3rd steak was still undercooked in the middle but cooked enough that I could eat the outside only….Manager came back and said he would “ Take care of us” on the bill for our trouble. We had ordered (2) Desserts of Bread Pudding….we asked for it to go as we were pretty much done with being there…..the Manager brought the dessert in a bag and we the paid the bill…..the FULL amount of our meal was charged to us….except for our desserts…we paid the bill and got home to eat our dessert only to find out that he only gave us 1 and not the 2 that we had ordered. The whole experience was horrible and we will not be returning anytime soon. I get that food can be cooked incorrect but 3 times in a row in a restaurant that charged us $157.00 for our meal is not acceptable.
Very, very expensive food.
Surrounding are beautiful.
Had to send meal back twice to have it cooked right.
Selectd Rey's for our 50th anniversary dinner. The filet and sides were very good. Our NY cheesecake was very good except for the frosting which made the desert a little sweet. Wait staff were great. The staff however were in constant motion setting up and tearing down tables, placing dishes in bins near our table.. We felt for a fine dining restaurant the noise level was extreme. The restaurant lacked soft music to completely enjoy the experience.
It was god good pricey. Had turtle soup actually very good. Service was great! Had a small wait time even with reservation. There was a party going on/ party had on headphones so no one in restaurant could hear the noise. But it was still kinda a distraction to other guest. I would recommend this for a special occasion.
Everything was great but the food was cold. I think they were understaffed.
The meal was great. Ticket times were remarkably quick for this quality of food. Rare steak was cooked properly the first time. Susan was extremely cordial and knowledgeable.
Outstanding service and food, this was a special experience!!
My husband chose Rey's for my birthday dinner and I was very happy with his choice. I had the chicken marsala with mushrooms and the bread pudding for desert. The service and food were outstanding. We will come back to Rey's in the future.
Wonderful food and great service. Very friendly staff
Excellent customer service, really went above and beyond to make our anniversary dinner special. Food came out in a timely manner and was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the bananas foster it was amazing. We will definitely return!
Loved every part of it!!
The food and service were excellent. The restaurant had a good crowd for a Monday night.
It's always a great time at Rey's. We can't leave without having the Cherries Jubilee!
Always an excellent experience. Above and beyond every time I visit.
Food was delicious. Our waiter started off great, but disappeared after we ordered. Wine came out well after the course it was supposed to pair with, and other people checked on us once or twice but not our actual waiter. The place was moderately busy, but even by today's standards, we were left waiting longer than usual. Still, would definitely go back for the food.
Food was fantastic as always and the service is always great.
What a wonderful evening at Rey's!
Our waiter David was wonderful. Food was excellent. Everything was great. Price was a little high in my opinion but to be fair this was first time we dine at a upscaled restaurant like Rey’s. Would definitely go back.
Amazing is all I can say.
We always enjoy dining at Rey's. We have always had wonderful staff when visiting. The food is always excellent! The atmosphere is always good and everyone is polite and genuinely glad you are there. Look forward to our next visit.
Excellent food and wonderful staff! Great place for group gatherings. You won't be disappointed.
Server was great. Exactly what we wanted. Good service and good food.
The staff was wonderful and very attentive. The food was delicious. We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate our anniversary with family.
DAVID!!!!!! The best ever!! The food was wonderful. The flounder and chicken were so delicious and satisfying. BTW, cocktails were to die for. The pineapple Upside down Cake was amazing. But the best was the last. Table side bananas foster was beautiful. Thank you for such a wonderful evening. Will ask to be seated at David's table again and again.
Anniversary dinner, food is amazing…a little louder than desired but still a great experience
This was my first visit to Rey's and I was not disappointed! I want to thank the staff for making my girlfriend's birthday special. Great service from everyone!!! The food was great as well as the atmosphere.
Great food and service- overall upbeat and fun evening!
Everything was perfect! Always a pleasure coming and celebrating special occasions!!
