Pan fried grouper topped with sautéed crabmeat over a New Orleans style butter
With a basil aioli sauce
Was wonderful. The food as always was excellent and the service impeccable!
It was good. Food service and atmosphere was excellent.
Wonderful as always!
Always top notch!
Upscale. Extensive wine list. Nice atmosphere. Food was good, but not very good or extraordinary. My wife's steak was undercooked and it was heated up, not replaced. Turtle soup was Ok but not luxurious. Seems hard to get out of here with 2 people for under $150. Not sure the food and experience matched up to that kind of money value. Try it once. We were glad we tried it, but will try another restaurant next time.
Michael was a great server! Food was as always, amazing!
Excellent food, excellent service, quiet; restaurant is a little dated and a bit overpriced
Outstanding place to go to celebrate events like birthdays, anniversaries, and the like.
Friendly staff, Owners attention to details appreciated.
My filet had to be returned twice but ended up too well done. The waiter comped our desert though.
Only point, not a criticism, our waiter was way too subservient. He meant well and we appreciated his attentiveness but he didn’t have to grovel so much.
Service was great but the food was average. Overpriced for what they think they are delivering
Food was so yummy.
First time at Rey’s and I was very much looking forward to it. The entrees were a big disappointment. The steak was a really bad cut for a NY strip. Overall it was a real let down and we will not be returning.
although some consider this a steak house, i had the most perfectly cooked & flavoured salmon.
We had a great meal. Paul was our server and he was great. Took very good care of us. Food was fantastic. I highly recommend Rey's, it was our first time, but definitely not the last.
Rey's is an EXCELLENT choice for dinning whether it is for a Special occasion or just want a quiet dinner for two. They offer separate rooms for larger parties or for special events. Great selection of wines and cocktails to choose from. Wait staff very friendly and accommodating, service is as fast or as relaxed as you want it. Food is ALWAYS expertly cook and prepared and arrives at table hot and fresh.
Not as good as the hype. Will try again to see if we hit an off night.
Excellent meal for wedding anniversary. Enjoyed the calamari, chopped salad and flounder. Husband had a steak and it was perfectly seasoned. Great service and friendly atmosphere.
Atmosphere was terrific, appetizers were outstanding and authentic and spicy, entrees were good, and bananas foster was ridiculously good!
Always great service and great food I have eaten here many times and never had a bad experience/
Great food, New Orleans flare well presented and fine ambiance
Always a good night at Rey’s!
We had a very enjoyable evening at Rey's. The food was very good. Each course, Including drinks took a bit too long to come out, but there were several large groups dining there, which I found unusual for January. If I didn't have to dust off the wood ledges next to our table, I maybe would have rated it higher, lol. (It really would take very little time for housekeeping to do this Rey!) My 16oz strip steak was delicious; thick & well marbled. It was best strip steak I have had in our area lately & at $51, very reasonable. The interior is due for a bit of a 're-fresh'.
Nice atmosphere. Good food and service
Amazing love this restaurant
We were celebrating a Birthday and It was our first time at Reys. Starting at the door ,We were greeted by two hosts and promptly seated (5pm resv) Our Server Matt was super polite and was very knowledgeable of the menu . I am a foodie but still like to know all about the menu . The wine list had lots of good choices. I decided on Panfried Grouper ,crabmeat and cream sauce add scallops..asparagus.. My Man ordered a 10 MR Filet Mignon ,House salad , cheesy potatoes. Both of our meals were perfectly cooked and he loved his salad . I choose the Banana Fosters instead of a salad and Michael made it table side ( he was delightful and recommended me to record in slow motion) awesome video!!! It was delicious and I ate every bite ,while my Man had a a LIT for his Birthday Dessert. I also ran into a Friend Christina who serves here and she was a extra bonus to our dinner. My Man gave it 5 stars and that’s a compliment. We will definitely return , Kudos to Staff and Manager I spoke with.
Food is excellent, service is outstanding. Overall, a wonderful experience.
Excellent food and services as always. Nice atmosphere for the two of us.
Hubby and I took our two teenage boys for a nice dinner for the holidays. Great service, delicious food. The boys cleaned their plates and lived the banana foster. Highly recommend!
I felt for the price, plate presentation was lacking . Also a sharper knife would have been nice.
I wasn’t going to say anything but since you keep asking. Service was excellent. My steak I ordered medium was mostly rare. Chewy as well. The 28 dollar dessert was overpriced and by far the worst banana foster I’ve ever had
Everything was amazing! Even met Rey😊
Food and service was nothing short of amazing. Jim, our server, did a phenomenal job!
First time at Rey's! Blown away at the SERVICE and delicious food! We will be back and definitely recommend REY'S!
Grouper Lafayette was not very fresh....quite disappointing and did not eat much of it. Filet mignon was excellent. We complained about grouper but were still charged for it which was surprising since Rey said they would not charge us. Overall, we will return as it is a very nice restaurant and would recommend it.
Food was excellent as always; wait staff very attentive and helpful. Rey's is our go-to place when we want a special dinner/dining experience.
Service was great, food could've been better. We ordered steak medium & came out medium well, almost well done. But the cheesecake was great.
Reservation on Open Table was easy. Famous restaurant was easy to find, we were warmly greeted by staff and management. The ambiance was elegant, the decor was stylish and subdued. Paul, our server, was prompt, friendly, and knowledgeable. We had barely taken our seat when our drinks and appetizers were ready! Our entrees were excellent. We received a complimentary dessert for our anniversary. A marvelous fine dining experience!
That was my Christmas present to my family. We enjoyed ourselves so much. Our server was exceptional, however I can’t remember his name. This could become a family tradition.
