As always Rey’s was wonderful. I had requested a quiet table for my husband and I to celebrate with my father’s on his 94th birthday. Rey set us up in a private room. We had a wonderful time and the service and meal was superb. Nora took great care of us and Rey personally checked on us. It doesn’t get any better!

It really wasn’t good and we found that quite surprising. It had great reviews online and looked great when we walked in. The prices on the menu were OK and looked like a standard steak house. However, the appetizers were so small that regardless of price you really should’ve been warned about their petit size and the sides for sharing certainly weren’t for sharing with many, if they were for sharing with any. We got the seafood trio, a speak appetizer that night, a shrimp cocktail, two prime ribeyes, a prime strip, and the kids mac and cheese. The steak was good. The problem is it seems like they underwrite the price of the steak with the poor value in the sides and the appetizers. I’d much rather just pay the right price for the items and have them be the right size and high quality. The waitstaff were a bit awkward, sort of like they were all new or hadn’t been well trained. It was just really disappointing. We paid $360 for a meal for four. We’re totally OK with that but want quality associated with that price..

Overall, the experience at your establishment was good. Only problem that I had was one of the size that I ordered. We never got until he was just about finished eating before we had ordered. He made sure that he asked the question about the mac & cheese that you all offer that was one of the main things that he had wanted, and it was his birthday And I wanted to take him somewhere nice and him to get everything that he wanted and after we didn’t get the mac & cheese, and I asked two different waitress about it. Finally, our original waitress apologized to him because she had forgotten it and then by the time he did get it, it wasn’t what he expected, and he did not like it, but that was the one thing that I did not like, but overall, the food was good

The appetizer in the salad was great. The service was great. The ambulance was very nice, but the steaks were absolutely horrible. I had a New York strip and my wife had a fillet and they were so tough. We couldn’t eat them. I think the management there should eat some of their own food and they better figure this out. We didn’t complain about it because we’re not complainers. Don’t expect anything for free.

Great food. Perfectly done filet. Excellent sides. Only down-side was an insanely over-priced Manhattan. I don't mind paying a lot for great food in a great restaurant, but ripping customers off in the price of drinks is not a good way to get repeat customers--I don't think my wife will let us go back to Rey's just because of that. I've been around the world a few times on a major company's expense account. I've been to a lot of truly great restaurants, and Rey's compares favourably to any of them. But I'm not a big fan of being ripped off.
