Rey's
Gorgeous new courtyard for outdoor dining, weddings, social events or al fresco dining.
Rey's is always a great experience. Even when things are not perfect the overall experience is above the average. In a rare event, we were served the wrong temp and the wrong steaks overall...we got another tables steaks. They quickly made us new ones and mafe sure they were correct before leaving the table. I am surprised they did not comp us a desert or take an app off the bill.
The chicken was seasoned just right!
The service was exceptional. The food absolutely delicious.!!!
Always a pleasant evening and meal at Rey's . Service and food were outstanding. Waitress was fabulous. I think her name was Ariana.
Wonderful experience. Great food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Consistently excellent food and truly outstanding service. Manager Jason is on top of everything.
Food order was reversed and did not realize it til after a few bites. Other than that all was well
My wife and I share a birthday and we could not have asked for better service and quality of food. We highly recommend Rey's.
A great place with incredible food and atmosphere. Perfect for a date night!
My husband and I have frequented Rey's in the past on our anniversaries. My husband passed away last year so this was my first anniversary without him. My son surprised me and asked for my OpenTable info. to setup a reservation since he knew I used your app. I was thoroughly delighted when my son told me he wanted to take me to Rey's in his father's place. Talking about having a Wow'd moment!! Like father like son :)
Service was on point, that's what made it so special. The food was good, but wasn't anything to special in my opinion but it was good.
Delicious food. Friendly staff. Overall an incredible experience.
Sides were overpriced for amount of food. Blackened tuna was underseasoned as well as grouper. Good little wine list.
excellent restaurant, especially for special occasions. would be nice if they had baked potatoes to go with their excellent steaks.
Rey's is one of our favorite restaurants. The food and service is outstanding!!!
Food was good but the sides don’t seem to pair well with many of the meals. There is also a bit of cross contamination between shellfish and other seafood. My wife has an allergy to shellfish and was unable to eat her scallops as they had clearly been in contact with shellfish.
Our waiter Franklin made our experience amazing!! The food was awesome and the service even better!
The wait staff was very attentive. Atmosphere was great. It would be a perfect place to celebrate special occasions.
Delicious food, outstanding service, it was a little loud but we were there at 6:00 when there were several families with children so that was probably to be expected. Rather expensive but probably worth it. We will dine there again when we can afford it.
We had a great time at Rey's for our 25th anniversary. The food was fabulous and service impeccable.
Everything is top rate! The choices and quality are great. Rey always drops by to welcome you and to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. Always a nice tough. My favorite restaurant!
The food was excellent, the wait staff was friendly and very attentive. Mr. Rey himself came over to our table and prepared our Bananas Foster himself. A great way to celbrate our anniversary.
Rey’s never disappoints. It is so nice to go to a restaurant where you can carry on a conversation without yelling to the person sitting beside you. You’ll hear some Sinatra in the background as you dine on perfectly cooked steaks, etc. Don’t miss the freshly prepared creamed corn. Service is perfection. We missed seeing Rey on this trip, as he was taking a rare day off. He would have been proud of our young server learning to flambé for the first time. YUM.
Fabulous food, people and ambience. Melt in you mouth steak, sumptuous raspberry chocolate truffle, and even lovely green beans. Bartender was exceptionally helpful.
Had a great time. Good atmosphere, food and friendly staff.
The menu at Rey’s Restaurant is filled with creative, classic, and delicious options. The servings are very generous and the freshest ingredients are used. The dessert menu leans more toward a few perfected desserts rather than sacraficing any quality for more variety. Rey’s signature coffee paired with creme brûlée, cheesecake, or bread pudding is an excellent way to end the meal. The atmosphere at Rey’s is not stuffy but leans more toward classy-comfortable. The staff is friendly, experienced, and professional. The only drawback is the expense. But, the dining experience is definitely worth the money for any special occasion or celebration, or when only an extraordinary meal will do.
Excellent service, excellent food. A great fine dining experience.
We eat at Rey's a lot. They never disappoint. The service is excellent and the steak is heavenly.
We were very let down. The quality of the food certainly did not match the price. The only positive thing we walked away with was our server. She was awesome.
We went for our 25th anniversary. The scallops and steaks were cooked to perfection. The cocktails were delicious. The service was absolutely excellent.
Date night was a hit! Our first time there and will definitely be back. Food was delicious. Service was excellent! Rey was at the entrance when we arrived and he made sure we got seated quickly. That first impression was everything. Made us feel that he was happy to have us there! Our first time seeing an owner mingling with customers as well. Had a great time overall!
The service was outstanding! The food was very nicely prepared. I liked having the owner and the manager stop by the table to make sure our meal and evening was going well.
Great food and atmosphere, excellent place for any occasion. They go all out to make your dinning experience over the top.
It is a favorite of ours. Every meal we have is always for special.. Thank you!
Jim was an outstanding waiter and the food was fabulous!
As a foursome we went to Rey’s on a Friday night during Restaurant Week. As always the service was impeccable and the food stellar. Rey’s excelled during Restaurant Week when their selections were at a great price point and a cut above other restaurants’ selections for the same price.
The waiter was rude and non attentive. My wife ordered a salad and he ask what dressing, she asked “what kind do you have?” He said “what kind do you want?” She asked again “what kind to you have available?” He said “we “got” whatever kind you want?” She said how about a balsamic vingerette?” He said “we don’t have that.” We all ordered our steaks Medium rare 2 came out over cooked. He said that is the way you ordered them. But in fact we did not. I ordered all three at once. Medium rare. He was to busy flirting with a table of 5 women to deal with us. He allowed our drinks to become empty multiple times. He also got the table next to us side items. Items they didn’t even order and not what they did order. Quite disappointed! Not what I know Rey would expect.
We decided to try rays during restaurant week. It was easy to get a reservation at a decent time, we were seated promptly, the service was pretty good, and our orders were correct. The issues I saw with rays is the main dining area is wide open with people walking through constantly. It was like eating at a train station. Next because of the openness it was really loud and hard to hear your conversation. The food was cooked properly but was mediocre at best. Nothing terrible but nothing outstanding either. Just felt for the money I’d rather go to Sullivan’s, Ruth’s Chris or Lucky 32. Lunch might be a better option. We went for dinner.
Wonderful evening. Fantastic meal.
My wife and I come to Rey's on Special Occasions..birthdays, anniversary, and Triangle Restaurant Week.
The service from making reservations to being seated and served is impeccable. The menu choices are all outstanding and cooked to perfection. Rey, the owner, is always present and makes it a point to visit all patrons. We feel it is the best restaurant in this area for a special occasion.
