   Had to wait 1 1/2 hrs. to be seated!! Service was slow and inefficient. Food was terrible! I will never go back to Chevy's again. They said they can't control the reservations through OpenTable so they just keep getting more and more reservation, which I don't believe. I'm sure this was not their first Mother's Day they have had at this restaurant.

   They were extremely busy due to Mothers Day but our server was ON IT! He was hustling, running around the restaurant, making sure we were all okay. I appreciated it & enjoyed my meal so much!

   Had a reservation for 130pm and waited one hour to be seated. Asked server for things, extra chips, refills and never got them. My steak was supposed to be medium but was well done and parking situation is awful !

   We arrived 10 minutes early. Our reservation was for 12:45pm and we were finally called at 1:40pm. We were left to stand outside in the hot sun, with blaring music from the speaker system. They had no PA system or pagers and you could not even hear who they were calling for the next table. I had to check in with them 8 times before being seated. Once we were called to be seated, we noticed that there were many empty tables both inside and outdoors and their second floor was completely closed. They may have been able to accommodate the patrons better, had they actually utilized their entire restaurant. As it was a buffet, they certainly shouldn't have been concerned with staffing problems. When we went to retrieve our meal, the buffet station wasn't even stocked. All around a very disappointing experience.

   Great place to eat. The river view is really great and you get the nice breeze.

   We had to wait a half an hour after our 12:15 reservation for a table. We, and other people waiting had to point out to the several hosts that there were many open tables on the patio, so we could get seated. There were many uoset people outside waiting. It was buffet style for Mother's Day, and most of the food was good, but they had trouble keeping hot, filled, dishes out. The ambience was nervous and scattered, for our 42$ per person.

   We gathered for a Mothers day. Chevy’s changed the menu to buffet with free Mimosa’s. The buffet was fine, the music was party hearty, but it was lunch with mom and none of us drink. The buffet cost clearly included the expectation that plenty of alcohol would be consumed. We’ll do another location next Mother’s Day and visit Chevy’s on days other than holidays.

   Went for Mother's Day brunch. We were not forewarned this was only a buffet style brunch when I made the reservation and that there were not regular menu options. With that, it turned out to be just fine, even better. The food was fresh and hot, the staff were so friendly and helpful. Restrooms and facility were clean despite the insane amount of foot traffic. So so happy we made the decision to drive out.

    Chevys on the Sacramento River is one of our favorite restaurants. We look forward to having our Mother’s Day breakfast there each year. Today with the exception, and the food was excellent, and our server Edith performed with class and a tremendous amount of experience.
