A great location to entertain and relax. Great service and the food was exquisite and the wine out of this world. A special place to spend quality time. Thank you to all
Quick efficient service, great table outside, lovely setting, nice atmosphere, marvellous staff particularly pleased with the Sommelier’s wine recommendation, it was perfect with the meal.
Had a great long lazy lunch on a summers Sunday. Whilst service was very good. small cock up with the order but overcome. The final bill was expensive (a little too expensive) but it was a great lunch
Hadn’t been to Oxo Tower for a number of years! I took a chance by booking there for dinner. As we had visitors from abroad I thought it is a good location with lovely views.
We were very pleasantly supplied as we had a great dinner. Nice choice on menu. Beautifully presented and good taste.
Would definetly go back and recommend
The food, the ambience and the views were superb - a superb location to celebrate our anniversary
The view is fantastic at the restaurant
Great food, lasagna was magnificent, somewhat pricey.
Excellent food and service with great views Not cheap but perfect for a special get together
First thing to say is that the staff were incredible. They couldn't have been any more accommodating and the knowledge of the menu and further wines was seriously impressive.
The food was really tasty but just not 5* as it's not the best I've ever had but still very good.
Price not 5* for the same reason as above. It was pretty expensive and not the absolute best I've had, although I would point out that the £35 lunch menu is very reasonable.
I would recommend and would go back for another visit.
A great place for a celebratory lunch with a lovely view of Central London. The food, wine and service was first class .
Wonderful views of the city, especially on balcony in good weather. Great high tea
Very nice and definitely a 5 star location. Staff were attentive and thorough but not that friendly. The food was of good portions, very tasty but overpriced for what we received.
We came here many years ago where I believed it was one of the best restaurants in London and it seems they have slipped since we were last here. There are plenty of fantastic high class restaurants so need to be careful they are not too complacent. I would still recommend this restaurant mainly because of the amazing location.
Great views from the patio, if you can seat outside do it, that's the way to go. Food and service was great, I loved their poached salmon, very tasty.
always nice and great view with excellent food
still good to see the harvey nichs influence
Absolutely beautiful panoramic view of London from the south bank. The staff was very accommodating and prepared a wonderful vegan selection.
We had a lovely time and the food was delicious. We will definitely be going back
The food and service was amazing combined with the view from the outside tables it was a fantastic experience
Good location / view. Food is good and service. Unfortunately rained during our visit but rapidly relocated inside.
Overall it just wasn’t up to the quality it should have been for the price paid. £450 for 3.
Had mojitos to start, these were bitter and not sweet at all.
I had to ask for both the wine list and tasting menus. We decided to go for the tasting menu. The food was dry, it was like it had been sitting under a lamp for ages or reheated from night before, flavours didn’t compliment each other, smallest scallops I have ever seen, croutons in soup where very hard. The view is not worth the low quality of food.
Ambience just okay, service just okay.
Dessert however was delicious.
I had been waiting to go to this restaurant for years, so disappointing, I would not recommend. So many better restaurants in London for a more reasonable price.
I was having a client diner and OXO just didn't impress.
Oxo Tower was very good. Very friendly service... especially from the Sommelier. But other service was a little chaotic. Especially at the Reception desk where she got distracted which resulted (I believe) in us falling through the gaps and missing our original table. A little irritating, being honest, not knowing if we were 'in the system' or could have been waiting at the bar forever having been missed. We asked which resulted in getting noticed. Rest of the evening and food was good. Lovely venue with great views. Our table was not great. But overall pleasant evening.
very nice, beautiful views pleasant people, decent food +++
Lovely from start to finish, great food great service
Lovely food, great views and cool background music. The only slight complaint we had was the cold air coming through the vents beside our table.
Good service and great food, a bit on the pricey side but views were worth it.
Lovely setting enjoyed the food service from one waiter was not what we expected - he was sarcastic and not very attentive . Other waiters who served us were good.
What a perfect place to finish off our trip to London! Loved the wonderful sunset view looking out over the Thames River and city. Everyone’s dinner was delicious too!
Really nice restaurant. Great views, great service, great food.
This is one of the loveliest spaces in London, and it also has particularly delightful cuisine. The service is charming and capable. I particularly loved the take on falafel, and the rhubarb/apple crumble, but all the food is marvelously presented and intelligently executed. Dining while overlooking St. Paul's and the river traffic, not to mention the skies that look like a Constable painting is as great a pleasure, as the sophisticated but unpretentious cuisine. Eating here will make you happy!
Ive had smaller bills at 2 Michelin star restaurants and the food is worlds apart. Oxo is an OK venue, the staff are friendly enough, wine pairings just OK. for 135 per head I recommend you go to core by Claire smith rather than here. Really disappointed.
Très bon dommage que le menu ne soit pas traduit en français
Great experience but service could be better arranged
Even though I made a mistake in my time booking hoping for afternoon tea. (times could be clearer on website) we had a fabulous meal off the set menu and apart from the expensive bottle of water (I'm a tight northern) I can not fault the restaurant for service, taste and overall experience.
Excellent food and service. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating
Great thanks - we have been a number of times and love everything about this restaurant
We felt that the food didn't really justify the price. The environment kind of made up for it except we were probably given the worst possible table of the lot, in the middle surrounded by lots of other people/tables.
When we were leaving, the reception / cloakroom guy saw me, but proceeded to let 2 groups cut in line, which was slightly annoying - didn't really mind though coz I was waiting for girlfriend anyway.
We have enjoyed the food and views from the Brasserie side of OXO. The restaurant has equally spectacular views with a smaller quieter ambience. Our food was exceptional. We ordered three courses that were large so sharing would be recommended for many with average or small appetites. We are in our sixties and enjoyed a last formal afternoon dinner with our daughter and partner before flying home to Canada. Highly recommend
The service was very good and the waiting on staff are attentive.
The food however was poor and over priced, I feel you pay for the view which is restrictive anyway.
I wouldn’t be going back again, just put it down to a poor experience
Thursday night out with the other half for a romantic and nice meal. Great wine selection advice. Each dish was very tasty. The view is world class. Pleasantly surprised at the professionalism and definitely will return soon.
I selected OXO Tower Restaurant because like many restaurants in London they offered a special “Veganuary” menu for the month of January. We booked Vegan Afternoon Tea in hopes of catching the sunset and we were not disappointed. Our waiter Adam was very friendly albeit very soft spoken. Another gentleman, possibly another waiter even allowed me to go out onto the balcony to snap a few photos.
Our meal was fantastic! We started with a selection of finger sandwiches and a refreshing mini avocado smoothie. I had the chocolate ginger tea which was delightful. My daughter ordered the peppermint tea which she enjoyed as well. After the savory portion of the meal we enjoyed miniature lemon meringue tarts, pineapple coconut cakes, a filling apple mousse and of course scones and jam served with coconut clotted cream. The food was wonderful. The tea was wonderful. Our server was wonderful. If I had to say anything negative at all it was that our water glasses were not refilled even after I requested more. It’s hardly worth mentioning as everything else was so enjoyable. I will definitely return during my next trip to London.
