Incredible food at this London institution. The crab linguine is amazing. Although I’m a sucker for a Veal Milanese.

Positives: this is a beautiful restaurant, with interesting menu, friendly staff, good service. I loved my beef carpaccio and pasta with crab, and the staff brought truffles with a candle out for my mother’s birthday, which was very kind. The wine was also good and well chilled. We were not rushed at all Less good: on a hot day it isn’t air conditioned, plus the acoustics in the conservatory are not conducive to conversation. We were very grateful to be moved to a quieter table on my mother’s request. Unfortunately my husband found his risotto over salted and his cod dry. And my mother’s spaghetti had crab shell in it, which made her nervous. So I can’t give 5 stars, but would happily return on a cooler day!

Restaurant was very miserable and I think that there was an issue with the staff .Marianne our server was pleasant but because we were seated next to the service area we could hear the staff talking and gathering together and complaining.The dustbin kept passing our table too 3 times whilst we were sat there and the mirror next to us showed all the going on in the kitchen.The food was nice but the whole experience wasn’t great and for a £200 bill with no bottle of wine or starters it really wasn’t what we were expecting .It was a 5pm sitting too so not overly busy either.Wont go back as these fancy places think they don’t have to try anymore
