Lidia's features authentic, regional Italian cuisine. Every item at the restaurant is house-made entirely from scratch with the best ingredients available. Breads and desserts are baked in-house daily and each salad and entree is prepared fresh.

Every day Lidia's offers a sampling of seasonal, daily-made pastas. We also feature many seafood, chicken, pork, and beef options. We are happy to accommodate your dietary needs including gluten-free items.

Lidia's is located in the historic Freighthouse-- a beautiful 19th century building. The stunning decor includes three hand-blown chandeliers, a three-story slate fireplace, and cozy, New York style seating.

I have been to Lidia's before and had a pleasurable experience. This visit, although we had a reservation and the place was about 70% empty, the host had us wait 5-10 minutes to be seated and continued to talk to other employees. That was not a great start. Our server was great but the service from the kitchen felt rushed. There was not much time between courses. Things came too fast. We had the pasta trio. It was ok. The bolognese sauce was thin on the meat and it lacked depth of flavor. None of the trio of pastas were exceptionally flavorful nor outstanding which was a surprise. On a good note, there was soooo much food. You will not walk away hungry. The restaurant was clean and well appointed.

Fantastic pasta dishes made fresh in house! Also plenty of alternative choices. Limoncello cake was superb.

First let me that say that the staff was excellent. Our server made sure he was available when we needed or had questions but let us enjoy our food and the atmosphere. The menu had plenty of options to choose from , I wish I could have tried it all. The pasta trio had a great variety and more than enough food more one person. I had the risotto primavera (I think that was it) it was excellent. I recommend anyone who has a special occasion or just an upscale dinner to come to this restaurant. It was romantic and upscale . We will be back soon. Plus the best tiramisu I ever have had.
