   Fish was not fresh and not only was my fish smelly but fish served at other tables one could smell the bad odor as soon as it came out of the kitchen

   The food was great. I loved the piano player! He played the Harry Potter theme song and sang and played Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to my granddaughter.

   Our waiter rushed us in and out. We were there less than an hour. Salads came out before appetizer. Appetizer came after we said something to our waiter. Brought the appetizer out during our salads. Sent the appetizer back and never ate it. Dinner came out and we weren’t done with our salads. My salad didn’t have dressing. The seafood crepes were more like fishy salty enchiladas. There wasn’t even any sauce and they were dry. On a positive the blackened red snapper was tasty. Tables are so close that the waiters and servers are constantly hitting your chair. Not a great experience.

   Major Disappointment: service was sloth speed. Cocktails ordered from table came 45 min. later and after wine fiasco. Asked for 2 bottles of nice French Sancerre, -"we're out" "Ok, how about this French? "Out of that too, and all French, but try this CA Chardonnay, it's ESTATE BOTTLED! " me-"No, what about this French?" Him"Sure, we have that." ??!!? Dinners were good except for dry, pre-made seafood crepes. Dessert was unspectacular too. Obviously no dress code as Daisy May & Joe Bob were dressed for the Hoe Down, too much skin, too many caps. What happened to our old Ouisie's?

    Same menu as always. Maybe try something new besides tomato basil soup? My guest didn’t even look at the menu because they always order the same thing. Nice place, staff seems to have turned over. Please don’t ask if I want more water…just pour it. Overall a Houston staple but not keeping up with the times.

    After notifying our server that 2 out of 4 of us were gluten free, we were all served muffins. We tried to explain to the person who served us muffins that two of us were gluten free, but she did not understand English. Per our request, my wife’s salmon was prepared gluten free. However, there wasn’t much effort to replace the ingredients that contained gluten with something more creative. They just added more carrots. One of our Deviled Eggs had shells in it. Our food took a bit long to come out. My Branzino was very good. It is a shame, because we’ve eaten here a few times earlier, but I’m not sure if I would go back.

    We had a very good experience at Ouisie's on Mother's Day. They were crowded, but we waited only about 2 minutes for our table. Our waiter was very attentive, and the Greek salad with grilled salmon was absolutely delicious. I was so impressed with how the restaurant handled the large holiday crowd. Highly recommend!

    Yes, it was Mother’s Day, so we expected it to be a bit crowded, but this was ridiculous. We were packed in there like sardines. It was very loud which made conversation with our elderly family difficult. The food was good, but service was slow. It was not up to their usual standards.

    You would think a restaurant that advertises for Mother’s Day and Father’s Day would have a fully functional high chair with lap belt. After requesting two different chairs, my 2 year old kept sliding down and the high chair was not safe. I spent Mother’s Day brunch with my two year old wiggling on my lap. My 4 year olds booster chair also did not have a way to strap the device to the chair…and that was the last one available. Just frustrating experience overall.

    They were very busy but we had a reservation and had to wait an hour to be seated. Service felt very rushed. We went for my husband's birthday and that comment was in our reservation and no comment was made regarding the occasion.

    The restaurant decor was lovely, as always. Ther service was attentive buy not hovering ;). The food was excellent. The wine for the fish dishes went well with it. But, the best part was the dessert.. the caramel cheesecake was almost like eating flan. It was terrific. There were 3 of us and we all got a good sized portion of one cheesecake. It was a birthday celebration and the venue was perfect for that!

    Ouisie’s Table has great service, wonderful ambience and delicious food. We made a reservation and upon arrival, we were seated immediately. The staff were friendly and efficient. I asked for a few modifications and my meal was perfect.

    We chose Ouisiea Table specifically because of the pre rice 50th anniversary menu which was advertised for this week. However upon arrival, no one at the restaurant seemed to know anything about it. So our lunch was half again as expensive as expected and we did not even order dessert. The food, service, and ambience were good as always, but we left feeling like we had been taken in a classic bait and switch scheme.

    We returned to an old favorite restaurant we used to enjoy when we lived in Houston. Although still a nice place, Ouisie's has a lost a step in their 50th anniversary year. the food was good - just good - not super fresh and flavorful like it used to be when it was one of the first farm to table places anywhere. The service by the main server was a bit perfunctory, although the busers and food runners were extremely attentive and on top of their game. There were two very large parties for brunch while we were there, so maybe that explains some of the issues. We would try them again, even though we were a bit disappointed that it wasn't as good as we remembered.

    I used to dine at Ouisies Table and Traveling Brown Bag almost 50 years ago when it was in West U. It was a funky little place back then and the food was delicious. It’s definitely upped its scale in decor and service to match the new location. The food is every bit as delicious as I remembered. Thanks for the memories.

    Food was below average for flavor. I had flounder, my husband quail. Both were not repeats. Also the Diet Coke was awful. Not sure what happened there.

    We visit Ouisie's Table a few times a year. Our latest dining experience was April 29th but we will return today for Mother's Day (will be our 3rd Mother's Day here). Our latest experience was pleasant, as usual. Service is always top notch. Danny was our server and he was attentive and personable. I tried a new dish this time, the Pan Seared Mediterranean Branzino, which was delightful. I usually opt for the Chicken Scaloppini but my most recent experience with this dish was a miss. Looking forward to another special occasion at Ouisie's. They're always organized and welcoming.

    As always the eggs Benedict were excellent. Sharon, our server, attentive while not hovering. Make great recommendation of caramel cheesecake for dessert. Definitely a great place to celebrate special occasions.

    The overall experience was great. The only downside was the noise level. We sat between the piano player and a table of sales people who liked to laugh loudly. Made it hard to hear our own conversation. Service was wonderful and the food was excellent.
