been goin here since it opened. Like many restaurants, it has gone downhill. food is good, not amazing, especially at today's prices. Hostess was overwhelmed and didn't know how to wrangle the customers waiting for their table(s). Nancy needs to get back into this place and rev it up again. That said, waiter was good (but also overwhelmed). This was one of my favorite places in LA, disappointed.

The service from our server was extremely awesome! Plus the bartender was so kind enough to give us a complementary wine for having to wait way pass our reservation time. Food was great as per usual!!

The food is fantastic. The tables were too close to one's neighbor. Full stop. The music was for some reason crazy loud... though at one point as we were screaming to each other about what a shame it was the music was so loud... it was turned down to a more moderate level. Still too loud to enjoy table conversation... but at least we didn't have to scream anymore.

Noise level outside was (compared to inside) tolerable. Temperature was not. We asked for the heaters to be on and were told they were on. I had a shirt, a wool sweater, and a puffy coat on throughout the meal, and I was shivering. Food was generally very good—the chicken liver crostini continues to get smaller over the years—though the calamari fritti was disappointing (in that there was almost nothing on the plate). Service was excellent. We never sit inside anymore because it is intolerable—too many people, too close together, too loud. I’d rather shiver outside.

Celebrated my birthday here, the service was excellent and the food delicious. The restaurant itself is quite small and the tables are very close together, but other than that, it was a great experience.

Mozza is one of our favorite restaurants! The food is outstanding and our waiter, Clint, was very personable and attentive. The staff are all friendly, a quality that is amiss at most establishments.

Sat at the pizza bar taking in the activity of the cooks and food preparation. The chicken Al forno was amazing. Moist with soft croutons and cooked fennel sauce. The coconut gelato pie with chocolate and nuts was outstanding!

This place is so unique relative to other restaurants. I have been eating so many pizzas throughout my life and none can compare to these pizzas. The waitress was great. The ambience was fun. Overall a wonderful experience. I highly recommend Mozza pizza.

Mozza remains one of the best restaurants in Los Angeles. Expert wait staff and wonderfully prepared dishes keep this gem alive. Burrata with sun-dried tomatoes and olive oil from Puglia are a standout. Every meal must include their tricolore salad. Bianca and Funghi pizza were exceptional, as always. Budino, gelato pie and caramel coppetta are extraordinary. The star of our meal was Henry, the wine manager/sommelier extraordinaire. He provided us with an education through his knowledge and enthusiasm for Italian wines that greatly enhanced our meal. Kudos to him and everyone that served us last might.

Very disappointed. We have been going here for over 10 years and loved how they had specialty pizzas that you couldn’t get anywhere else. Apparently now they’ve decided to dumb down their pizza menu to appeal to the masses with boring pizza choices for the same prices. What a shame! I thought they were supposed to be a high end pizzeria!? I ordered the pork Milanese to try something different since pizza choices were so limited and it was overcooked and dry and not worth the exorbitant price they charged for it. Saving grace thank God They still have the delicious appetizers which will be the only thing worth getting next time we choose to go.

They just do everything well here. Quality food, excellent preparation, great service. A true L.A. classic. Friend and I got: -Meatballs, which came with buttery grilled sesame bread (5 *) -Fried squash blossoms (5*) -Baby eggplant with hummus and zhug (4 *) -Honeynut squash pizza (just wow! 5 *) -The absolutely incredible caramel coppetta for dessert (5* don’t miss it!). Bon apetit.

Such a disappointment! Was our go to place when in LA but no more. Prices have tripled! Pizza came out cold, low on flavor & had to be sent back. Server was unpleasant & brought check & take home box before we had finished. So sad!

The pizza here was fine, but nothing to write home about. I had the Sausage Pizza, and it was very salty. The crust/dough was good. I found this restaurant to be very expensive, given that desserts all run over $20 each, and same with single glasses of wine. That was a bit eye-opening for the quality and flavor of the items.

Absolutely loved it. They made the nicest touches for our anniversary with leaving a card and giving us a complimentary glass of champagne. It was very unexpected and also very sweet! the food was absolutely phenomenal. There wasn’t one thing we didn’t like. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

The pizzas were pretty good … one was a bit too salty and the other needed a little punch, like feta cheese, but was otherwise good. Sitting at the counter can be fun but you’re packed in, in my case between a right handed guy and a left handed one. I had to hold my arms tight against me while I ate. I had the tricolor salad which tasted a lot like the mustard weed I nibbled on as a child from my backyard. The dressing was really good. Waiter was great.

Our dinner was delicious and fresh as it always is. We were seated in a quiet area by the nice hostess which was much appreciated as the restaurant is always “lively”. I was hoping to eat the eggplant caponata but it’s off the menu.

Before the pandemic, we thought your pizzas were divine and worth the price. On Tuesday night we were sorely disappointed. My husband gave his meat lovers pizza a D-!! My friend and I shared a squash blossom pizza and both gave it a C. Very disappointing.

The pizzas were wonderful! We ordered the meat lovers. the burrata and the butternut squash. Each pizza was unique with wonderful textures and delicious! The crust was fantastic on all three pizzas. We also ordered the chopped salad to start but that was a little bit overdressed for my taste. However, it was still a nicely done salad. For dessert, we shared the coconut gelato pie which was not too sweet but absolutely perfect! Perfectly chilled coconut gelato in a crust with dark chocolate and salted nuts. We look forward to going back soon.
