Wonderful service. Delicious food. Bar has many varieties of wines and drinks to choose from. This was our 3rd time of eating there and each time has surpassed expectations. We arrived a bit early for our reservation but were seated almost immediately. Highly recommend this restaurant as a "must do" when you visit Santa Fe.

I’m local to Santa Fe and have always enjoyed Anasazi. Today, however, the staff was...I don’t know...distracted? We were seated quickly and brought water and coffee, but it all went downhill from there. We had to as twice for someone to take our order, we never figured out who our server was supposed to be, we had to ask every time for coffee to be refilled, the order, when it finally came, was wrong. One we got our food, it was excellent, like always. The service, however, spoiled the experience.

The food was excellent. My wife had scallops and I had the salmon. Both perfectly prepared. Salad and octopus appetizers were also delightful. The service began very well, but I really don’t like waiting for the check. 20 minutes after asking. My only complaint. If not for that 5 star total.

Not a good one! I don’t write negative reviews normally but can’t help myself after going to the amazing SantaCafe tonight. What a difference- I had asked for a special table and booked a week in advance. We travel to Santa Fe often and my wife grew up nearby but never went to Anastasi for dinner. The service was friendly but belonged in a Denny’s, not a high end restaurant- The tortilla soup was flat, bland and cold The salmon was cold but decent The diver scallops portion was generous The octopus was tender but small Guess we just expected more and would have been 2 to 3 stars if I rated last night but now with the comparison previously mentioned...save your money if expecting an amazing dining experience.

Times are tough with the virus issue and all restaurants are having a hard time. I might return here if things in the world get better. The menu was very limited and only outside seating available. Understandable. That said, our meals were mediocre at best and absolutely not worth the price we paid. $18 for a glass of wine is also ridiculous.

The staff at Anasazi are wonderful!! Tomas is a master at his craft. He accommodated us with exactly what we needed even with the many restrictions due to covid. The food is outstanding here!!! Compliments to the chef. The servers are so friendly and accommodating, again, dealing with covid restrictions. I highly recommend this dining experience.

These are tough times for most businesses, so we are prepared to cut slack. The outdoor seating was well done, ambiance was fine despite the trucks and cars with very sound enhanced exhaust systems coming by very frequently. Not the restaurant's fault, but part of the whole scene. The food was very good but due to reputation we expected excellent. The service was unacceptably slow. Ignored by staff for long stretches of time. We just sat and even to get water refreshed had to wave down a waiter/bus person....TWICE. Reservation was 7:15 and we were on time. We had cocktails, split a salad, an entree each....no dessert, after dinner drink nor coffee and departed at 9:45. Waited close to an hour on entree's. Will try again when things get back too normal, but not under the current circumstances.

The food this day was sub-par. The presentation lacked finesse and the flavor was bland. The service, however was great. We’ve had better food at diners. We were celebrating a special occasion and after $86 for lunch, I’ll have to consider whether or not we’ll return. Also, after leaving the hotel and returning thirty minutes later to use the restroom, a concierge stopped me as I was exiting and inquired as to whether or not I was a guest at the hotel and stated they weren’t allowing anyone in the hotel other than guests or restaurant patrons. I did not see any signage for this and thought their tactics for controlling traffic needed some work. I also sent a message to the director through Instagram, but did not hear back. I understand things are abnormal due to the pandemic, but overall, it wasn’t what I expected.

Dinner with friends, six of us. The dining room is spectacular, quiet and comfortable. The food is pricy, as expected, so no surprises there. The quality for the price is perhaps not up to standard. The tortilla soup was tasteless and spice-less. The NY strip was thin and did not seem to be prime as advertised. The pork shank was also devoid of seasoning, but very tender and succulent. The service was a bit hurried, the waiter not very personable, as if our being there was a mild annoyance. All in all, we would return for a special occasion, giving it another try before crossing it off our "to do in Santa Fe" list once and for all.

Anasazi is one of our all-time favorite restaurants because it never fails to deliver excellence on every level. The food is consistently intriguing... nothing run-of-the-mill. For example, I had the scallops with a southwest flare that was accomanied with a green herb sauce. By itself the sauce was nothing much but when combined with the rest of the meal it was spectacular. Only a truly talented chef is able to have such control of his food and his creations. This is the reason we come back to Anasazi again and again.

We went for lunch and were quite happy with the beautiful space, the excellent service (from Manuel and Carlos) and the fine food. Restaurant Week fixed menu was our choice: the duck cake was very good, as were the stacked tacos. Perhaps all our anticipation of this lovely place hyped us beyond what is reasonable to expect. Still waiting to be "blown away."

This restaurant has beautiful, understated decor. The waitstaff were all friendly. However, they seemed rather disorganized. Perhaps they were having difficulties with their Restaurant Week launch. We were initially served someone else's entrees before receiving our first course, and had to inform the waiter that the plates belonged elsewhere. We then sat for a full 20 minutes before our first course arrived. At least it was delicious! I then watched my dessert course being served to another table--I had requested the ice cream without the brownie. Our neighbors told the waiter it was not what they had ordered, and he left it for them anyway. So I watched them eat my dessert. He then served my dessert plate WITH the brownie and the ice cream on top. Well, my companion enjoyed the brownie, in any case. The food was good, and the space is very pleasant, but we would not likely return. They just didn't seem to be putting their best foot forward, and for the price point we had higher expectations. We had a much better overall experience at another Restaurant Week participant on the following evening.
