   We went to Martinis for a special occasion (birthday). Requested outdoor space out of the sun and were seated in partial sun. Changed seats once requested. Food was overpriced. A half bistro salad with 3 scallops (dinner sized salad) was 29.00. Grilled pork chop dinner was reportedly good at $27.00. Our waiter left us sitting for quite some time after delivering the dessert menu and blamed it on having a large table, although the restaurant was not at all full. It did not have the feel of a special night for the price and the service was subpar.

   Great service and food. Jack and Jake were awesome servers. 1 meal was not quite right and the quick correction and way it was handled was so professional. Honestly it was the best server we have had in a long time. Love Martini’s and will be back soon.

   We gave it another chance and boy am I glad we did! The food was wonderful, although they did run out of several entrees before we arrived. What we had was still fantastic.

   I found the food rather unimaginative. My sirloin seemed more like a very thin rib eye - there was much more gristle than there should have been. The waiter never asked if we wanted more wine. My party said the calamari was very good, but the hummus seemed to have mayo in it. And there was a small amount compared to the dippers. No one raved about any of the dishes. Overall I was disappointed, especially as this was a special occasion - my son’s graduation dinner.

   Jack served us tonight and the atmosphere, dinner and service was exceptional. We will be back and recommend this to our friends.

   We met a friend who just moved to the Longmont area. What a treat! We had the ahi tuna, short ribs, and scallops. Our friend is a light eater so she ordered the scallops and broccolini from the “sides” menu.. All three dishes were beautifully arranged and perfectly prepared. The ambience was elegant, yet cozy. The tables are arranged with enough distance between them that your conversation feels private. The hostess and servers were quite helpful and attentive. My classic gin martini was so delicious I ordered another. The restaurant is relatively small so reservations are essential. My husband and I ran into an unexpected delay up in Fort Collins and were going to be a little late. We called the restaurant to alert them and they were as gracious as can be. Our friend was comfortably seated with a glass of bubbles and some warm bread while waiting. Thank you Martinis for a wonderful experience.

   To whom it concerns: Two weeks ago, a flyer below landed in my inbox. I responded immediately to the 4/24 Prime Rib dinner promotion, on 4/10, and reserved a 7 p.m. seating. My husband were really looking forward to it. I was reminded multiple times about our reservation by email, although oddly, the digital flier says "We'll call you on the 21st to confirm," but I never got that call. I responded to the email reminders confirming that we were still planning to be there on the 24th. We arrived early, about 6:40. About 10 minutes after being sat, and having just ordered wine and mussels as an appetizer, your hostess mistakenly came to us with 2 Prime Rib plates. We declined, having only just sat down and not having gotten our appetizer yet. She then spun around and delivered them to another table. The correct one, I presume. We should have taken them while we had the chance. By 7:10, having finished the mussels appetizer, we were informed by our waiter there was no more Prime Rib. It was not even 7:30 on Prime Rib night. While our waiter handled the situation with grace and aplomb, this seems like a seriously amateur mistake. He was embarrassed and we were annoyed, having chosen Martini's precisely because of the promotion. We decided to leave rather than choose something else from the menu. We'd come for the Prime Rib. Please remove me from your mailing list. I don't need alerts to promotions like these. It's too bad; we expect more from established fine dining in Longmont. Dana Gonzalez SW Longmont
