   Disappointing experience for a special night out. Our waiter was inattentive (we weren't asked if we wanted a drink for at least 15 minutes and food and drinks were plopped down as he ran past). It looked like he was swamped, and I can excuse some of that but when spending $100 + per person you expect more. The calamari appetizer was good but the beet salad was oily with tiny tasteless cubed beets. Our main courses, spinach ravioli and short rib ravioli were just okay, very bland and a bit overcooked.

   Our waiter was wonderful! Very attentive. He recommended a wine to pair with the veal dish and it was wonderful! A perfect pairing. Highly recommend.

   If you've never been to opera night, GO! 5 courses for a reasonable price. The talented singers will keep you amused and sing by request in between courses. Service is always super professional and on point. Food was simply exquisite.

   Love the combination of the personable opera singers and pianist, storied intros to tunes and passionately performed pieces (that were never too long) as requested by the audience. Scrumptious dinner and a beautiful space made the night perfect! Watch the cost though - $300 for two off us, and this before putting any cash in the envelope for the performers. So a memorable night but not too often.

   We haven't been to Sotto Sopra for a few years and decided to revisit. Amazing! It has always been a beautiful spot to dine and hang out, and it still is. Nice music playing in the background inside a gorgeous space, its not too big, its not too small, its just perfect. Service - outstanding. Everything we ordered was top notch and the portions are really really good size, especially compared to the sizes that we have been seeing everywhere lately. Dish of the night for me was Fruits de Mare - a jem of a dish with the most fantastic lobster broth. Yum yum yum!!!
