Louisiana Lagniappe, located in the heart of Baton Rouge, crafts classic Southern-style cuisine with an emphasis on fresh, seasoned seafood in its warm and relaxing eatery. The homemade fried boudin balls served with remoulade and the blackened shrimp in a pineapple rum butter sauce make delicious and sharable appetizers. Some of Louisiana Lagniappe's specialty entrée dishes include the Pontchartrain sautéed fish filet topped with fried crab, honey-roasted pecans and almonds and rich hollandaise sauce, the bacon-wrapped chargrilled tuna topped with garlic beurre blanc sauce and crabmeat and the sautéed spicy barbecue shrimp. Not in the mood for seafood? Louisiana Lagniappe also has a selection of prime steaks, as well as soups and salads. Louisiana Lagniappe also has a full kids' menu, making it a family-friendly restaurant.For a sweet end to your meal, indulge in the blueberry bread pudding topped with rich cognac sauce.

The food and dining experience has been is still one of the best in the city. The eggplant appetizer and the fried oyster Caesar salad was delicious.

My husband loved the crawfish bisque and the tuna special. Everything was excellent including the drinks!

The food & service were really good although pricey. The ambiance would have been nice except the noise level was almost unbearable. We could hardly hear the waiter give the nightly specials & had difficulty talking to each other. Not sure it's worth it to go back for the food.

We had a great dining experience tonight. Our waiter was very attentive but not overly attentive. The food was exquisite and excellent potion sizes.

The food was fabulous as was the cocktails. Ben was an attentive waiter and was good with suggestions. However, the noise level was off the chart again due to one table. There has to be a better quality noise reduction material that can be installed. Overall it was a wonderful dinner.
