   This is our go to spot for special occasions, it’s mine and my fiancé’s favorite. The food is always so, so good, and really fresh and different. Make sure you try the coconut rice! The waiter accidentally put in the wrong dish this last time, and then comped it and brought us the correct one even though we said we didn’t mind! So we took it home to save for later and gave him a 30% tip. The staff is so nice. Only thing I disliked, which is totally out of their control and did not influence my rating, was a woman sitting next to us who’s laugh was like a deafening cackle, oh my god the whole dinner. But whatever, c’est la vie.

   Great experience. My only comment would be that when someone says they have a baby with them, putting them at a tight 4-top isn’t ideal. But maybe I just need to book for 5.

   Our group of 4 shared several plates, after enjoying some tasty cocktails. Peruvian ceviche, kale & brussel salad, empanadas, and patatas bravas were fantastic! The yuca was just ok, bigger and firmer than we like. Service was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit!

   Love Señor Bear! Have been a handful of times and literally every item I’ve tried is delicious. Trust your servers when they make recommendations! Def a little pricey (cocktails $12-$16, meals $20+) but 100% worth it :) also note that they are BUSY so always always make a reservation.

    Food was excellent. We did the picnic basket for two of us and it was a great way to experience a wide variety of dishes. The hamachi was my favorite of the evening. I'm also gluten free, our server was very knowledgeable. Lots of options.

    They must have been short staffed the night we had our reservation. The bartender was also our waiter and it was pretty difficult to get attention from him. Our dinner took over 2 hours with big wait times between times our waiter came over. At one point I asked for a menu from the guy that delivered some food to our table. The hostess brought it to the wrong table even though I tried to flag her down. We decided not to order anything else, it would have taken way too long. I understand this happens, I would juts have loved a heads up at the beginning of the reservation. I have been here before with great service. This is the first time I brought my husband and I was really excited to treat him. I’m not sure we would want to go back.

    We have been twice to the Bear and have had mixed results. The first visit was enjoyable enough we went back 2 weeks later, but this visit was not up to par. There are two primary issues. One, the food is pretty much all spicy, ranging from hot to really hot. It grows tiresome and is tough on the eaters that don't appreciate their mouth on fire. Two, the pacing was off. We ordered a set of appetizers and then a few plates for our mains and they came out at random orders and really fast. This made us feel rushed as the plates piled up, crowding the table and pressuring us to finish to make room. Waiter was very nice and efficient - the entire staff in fact was great. I recommend the restaurant but you may need to direct things a bit to ensure timing is right.

    Food was hit and miss. The half chicken was delicious but was difficult to cut and eat with the tools and space at the table. The roasted autumn vegetables were bordering on burnt. Bean guiso was fantastic. Patatas were well executed and great tasting. Cocktails were fun and interesting. Service was great. Noisy atmosphere, to the point of being difficult to make conversation. Overall it was good but not enough to drive me back anytime soon.

    It’s was an okay experience. The restaurant itself was great the server was just okay, a little serious. Haha. Usually have great meals here but for some reason the flavors just seemed off this evening. The ceviche was wonderful the beans and broccoli dish were average at best.

    Senor Bear was good, but honestly, not great. Considering how hard it was to get a reservation combined with the fact that the overall experience was just "okay", I don't think we'll be returning.

    We had a great time at Señor Bear! Keep in mind it is very loud; we were seated next to a very energetic 4-top and had some trouble hearing each other. However, we will absolutely the back. The food was fantastic; if you go get the asado!

    We had a lovely dinner at Senor Bear! Service was attentive and helpful, and the drinks and food were outstanding. It is a noisy place so if anyone is hard of hearing I wouldn’t suggest it, but it was definitely a fun date night!

    From the drinks, to the appetizers, to the service and the price, it was another excellent night at Senor Bear. One of our favorite Denver gems! The NYE Oysters we’re probably the best I have ever had. My wife even tried her very first oysters and loved them!
