En nuestro restaurante exclusivo, AR Valentien, el chef Jeff Jackson ofrece pescados y mariscos frescos, carnes, productos agrícolas y productos lácteos de mercado. Amazing gourmet meal in a lovely, peaceful terrace overlooking the pacific ocean and golf course. The wait staff attended to every need. Parking was unusually easy for a hotel-based restaurant. I highly recommend!

We’ve been coming here so many times and the food is always great; our server Tasha was excellent and we discovered an excellent new Pinot Noir - Littorai 2020 - but I have to say, and it may sound petty, but the lighting inside is horribly bright and, according to staff, can’t be dimmed since the remodel was done. Please put a dimmer on those indoor ceiling lights. It really makes a difference. We’ll return, for sure, but only when it’s warm enough to sit outside on the patio until then; a simple thing like a dimmer will make a huge difference.

The food was excellent. We had a very nice, knowledgeable waiter telling us about the menu items. We chose to sit outdoors and had a lovely view of the golf course and ocean. Wonderful outdoor heaters. You could easily sit outside without needing a sweater.

Superb meal as we celebrated our engagement anniversary at AR Valentien at the Lodge at Torreny Pines. The rack of lamb was absolutely delicious. The halibut was so-so. Expensive but we greatly enjoyed it.

Another amazing dinner experience at A.R. Valentien! My husband and I celebrated my birthday with a 5-star dinner once again! We started with the Blackberry Salad and Asparagus Soup, both which were excellent. Then we both had the Duck for our entrees. It was even better than past years, and that's saying a lot! The staff was very attentive as usual. We also really enjoyed the biscuits they served as the bread. This is our favorite special occasion restaurant! We will be back again!

It’s back open again after a upgrade of the kitchen. Many months without this amazing restaurant. Our go to for fine dining.

I was trying out the revived AR Valentien to make a recommendation to my work for a Business Development function. I have to re-think my recommendation now. The poor waiter was over worked with no help from others like the bus boy and servers. For example, my water glass was NEVER refilled even though the waiter stopped by to ask how the dinner was. The salad, soup and wine were good. Coulotte Steak was cooked correctly [rare with nice char on the outside] but was tough in spots. Food & wine were good, not great. Service is way off from our previous AR V experiences. Also, with soups and salads it would be good to offer some bread rolls of some type or some toast to soak up the deliciousness. We had to ask for bread and the waiter did not ask if we wanted toasted. Overall, disappointed. AR V not up to previous standards that were achieved.
