Server was slow get requested item or not at all. Didn't receive items to clean up water on table.

It seemed the staff was not very attentive. I’m not sure if it was a case of being overwhelmed, the wait staff did take care of us, but it seemed she was taking most of the takes and others stood around chatting among themselves. most of our food was really good, but the bisque was not to the expectation of New Orleans.

One of my favorite places in New Orleans. Whenever in town, I try to make it to the Bourbon House. Oysters are excellent - just down the street from Acme Oyster House, but a more upscale (and quieter) environment.

My wife and I had a date night here during Restaurant Week in New Orleans. The staff was friendly, the food was good, and the ambiance was a mix of romantic and casual dining. It's worth checking out, and it's right on Bourbon Street, which we hit up after dinner.

Perfect first night in NOLA. We had the crab claw bordelaise appetizer followed by the red fish on the half shell and shrimp and grits. Chefs kiss!
