   Amazing!! Best food I have ever had! We did the tasting menu which was a lot of food. Too much food but we now have amazing left overs! Amazing food comes at a price - be ready to spend $400+ if you get drinks with the tasting menu.

   Where to start. My beautiful girlfriend and I took a little vacation to Seattle and it seemed as if everyone and everywhere Spinasse was getting talked about. We had to see what all the hype was so we made dinner reservations for a Sunday. I will tell you now. Everything, and I mean everything was amazing. From the staff, the menu, food and fresh ingredients, to the ambiance. Big Hoon Kim (me) and Chef Ana (my beautiful girlfriend) will most definitely be back next time in Seattle.

   We came here for date night per the request of my GF. We ordered the poached egg with fontina, goat cheese gnocchi, and duck with polenta. The poached egg with fontina was decent and the bread seemed fresh. The goat cheese gnocchi was very salty and very small portioned even with the full serving. The duck with polenta had great aromatics but seemed like it was missing some other dynamic flavors. Overall, would not come back unless someone else was paying.

   PHENOMENAL!! Unlike any Italian restaurant I've been to. Go here for specialized and unique dishes and flavors... not your average spaghetti and meatballs. I got the beef cheeks and braised duck. Highly recommend

    Best pasta I've ever had! While planning my trip I was going to go to Pink door but I was reading some reviews and people said Pink Door is a great ambiance and aesthetic but Spinasse has better food, so I chose Spinasse. We made a reservation ahead of time and got seated immediately upon arrival! It was sooooo good, we got the two most popular pastas, the thinly sliced ones that have been on their menu for over 15 years. It was delicious! Both were amazing in their own way, I'm glad we got both and shared! We both got the half plate. It was sooo delicate yet the thin strands were firm. So we'll flavored! The uovo poached egg was delicious with the bread too! Lastly, we got the Brussels sprouts which were well flavored in the sauce! It all felt well balanced and delicious. The service was great too! Very cozy place.

    There's a reason that reservations are snapped up as soon as they're available. I was lucky: I knew I'd be getting in late on a Friday, so a 10pm reservation worked fine. I sat at the bar (my choice) and had a chance to chat periodically with Charles and Heather as they were working (hard). Negroni and Porchetta Tonnata for starters, followed by half-servings of Tajarin al Ragù and Agnolotti dal plin di Coniglio, with a 250-ml carafe of Barbaresco. There are great-looking plates, but if you've snagged a reservation for Spinasse, go for the pasta and get two half-plates of different items. Excellent place to sit and savor. Charles had great suggestions for after-dinner amari to top off the evening. Only my second time there, and first in several years - worth the wait.

    We live less than 2 miles away from this gem but it’s not been on our radar to dine here. My family of 4 celebrated my birthday here last night and absolutely loved everything about it. This is a cozy yet not too quiet restaurant. Our waiter in particular was beyond fabulous with his explanation of this special Italian food which is not your typical pasta Bolognese with tomato sauces. Quite the opposite, fresh in house made pasta light and fluffy and so delicious! The aeperol spritz was so refreshing , fresh baked bread, and the wines from this region were lovely. The food and the chocolate mouse for bday dessert were outstanding! I cannot rave more about it and I’m so happy my kids (18 and 20) loved it too! Thank you Spinasse, we can’t wait to return for more.

    This was the most stunning dining experience I’ve ever had. Our waiter was so friendly and explained everything about the meal with ease and excitement. Every time he explained it even to other tables we could overhear, his enjoyment of the experience was evident. The food was spectacular and perfect serving sizes. Usually after a nice dinner one might still be hungry but here you are fed enough to feel full. Everything was set to perfection, including the table being reset and wiped down between every single course. They also don’t look down on family style like make nice places do, so you get to try everything your group gets, if they feel like sharing. 100/10 will return.

    I love the pasta at Spinasse. The desserts were also a standout. One thing that is a huge turnoff for me is when I'm trying to order at a restaurant and the waitress tells me that I can't order appetizers before I order my meal. That it all has to be ordered at the same time. This is very snooty. Then when we were ready to order the entire meal the waitress tells me not to order the appetizer I wanted to order and suggests another one. This was a huge turnoff and for that reason we don't plan to come back to Spinasse for a long time. I'd rather spend my money at Carmines.

    We were treated to an evening of amazing food and excellent service. This was the second visit for my wife and I, but our first time being in our teenage kids. They LOVED it. Some of the food would have been a little outside their comfort level but I was pleasantly surprised that everything was enjoyed . We even had to order a second risotto! The staff was amazing and made us feel at home and comfortable even though they were busy. Spinasse is one fantastic restaurant to experience!

    Wanted to get in for Valentine’s Day but the reservations were limited even at a month out. We put it off for a couple days to get in on the weekend and it was worth the wait. The food was as remembered, absolutely delicious. Each bite of the Tajarin pasta was something you savored for the butter and Sage meld so well with the freshly made pasta. The other dishes show the risotto and radicchio salad also show how the recipes were made to make the visit truly an gastrointestinal experience.

    This is a great place for a romantic dinner or a celebration. The food is really good and there is so much attention to detail that it really makes for a special night. We all had the tasting menu which is really s great deal if you are hungry and don’t know what to try. For $65 you can get three small glasses of wine that are supposed to pair with the dishes. The problem is the dishes are all so different that the wine really doesn’t make sense with them as a whole. You are better off just ordering a wine you’d like to go with dinner. There was one small thing we all noticed that made us giggle and that was the amount of dust on the chandeliers. For a place as nice as this where they put some much attention into the details of every plate we all thought it was weird that would be missed. Overall for 4 people our bill came out to $880. Not too bad for a nice dinner in Seattle and luckily no one left hungry. Service was the best part. We never felt forgotten about or unattended. Overall we had a great time and would recommended it to anyone looking for a special night out.

    Absolutely fantastic meal, my favorite was the rabbit agnolotti, great flavor as well as the sage butter pasta.. I really wanted to try the onions stuffed with sausage but I guess it changed on menu.. great service.. highly recommend!

    Excellent service, squishy tables next to one another, noise volume is high, space is small and was overly warm. We did a essentially tasting menu of all their items. It was lots of food but we didn’t really enjoy many of the dishes. It was nicely presented, food was generous sizes but it wasn’t for us. I doubt we’d be back. However some dishes were pretty tasty.

    I would pay that money for these dishes any day! Fresh, flavorful, robust flavors. I know how much time and effort it takes for each dish and let’s just say it’s well worth getting a reservation. Dry all the pasta dishes and share them

    We have dined all over Seattle and this was the worst experience we’ve had so far. The food is so highly overrated. We did a sample of the menu and we would not recommend a single thing. The poor waitress was very kind and knowledgeable of the mouthful of a menu however. The restaurant is just small and crowded. If you want some delicious pasta, good ambience and a far more approachable atmosphere, and even a possible city view, go The Pink Door. Double check your reservation time too if you happen to change it on OpenTable. They will not receive the update, apparently.
