   We had reservation for our anniversary received complimentary champagne which was a nice surprise. The Valet attendant was spot on. Our server was very attentive and surprised us with each a glass of champagne for our anniversary a very nice touch. Ceaser salads were okay. Chicilan Sea bass was excellent. Chicken Pot pie was good . Dessert was good.. Over all I recommend this place for a special event and would come back for a special event.

   From greeting to server, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Scott, our server made an excellent recommendation for the Steak Wellington was excellent, as well as suggesting the perfect cabernet to pair it with. It was such a lovely experience. The only disappointment was additional charges. We were 2 women eating, and we split everything because we to wanted try multiple items. We had no qualms about the prices for such an elevated experience. But when the check was delivered, I was disappointed we were charged a “split plate” fee, as well as a 5% “wellness” fee. I believe in a generous gratuity for good service, however, do not agree with paying for employee healthcare (which should be the responsibility of the employer), and a “split fee” seems punitive on a check for 2 people that was over $200.

   We were there for a birthday celebration and Melvyn’s could not have made it more special. From the complimentary glass of champagne for the birthday girl to the wonderful service and well wishes we could not have been better cared for. I highly recommend for your average Monday night to your most treasured occasions.

   Our waiter was awesome! Scallops and sea bass were delicious! The cherries jubilee was an amazing experience!

   I took my husband for his birthday, and it was amazing‼️we are having guest in a couple weeks and made another reservation for when they are here visiting..

   Very happy we chose to do their brunch buffet for Mother's Day this year. Few places do really nice buffets for special occasions, especially on the West Coast, nevermind Palm Springs. We were excited to see they were doing one, and we weren't disappointed. Very nice selections, especially numerous seafood choices, baked breads and pastries, and many brunch staples. But the highly attentive service really made the meal enjoyable, right down to coninuously replenishing the silverware based on individual food choices. And a lovely ambiance. Both our mothers loved it.

   For 125 a person expected a dining experience. Got breakfast fare and prime rib. Muffins on eggs Benedict were hard to cut with a steak knife, ham was cold and dry. Have been to several buffets at half the costs with sushi , duck, several meats, a lobster dish or two. The ambiance was good classic restaurant and the service was great the disconnect is with management I have to believe. Back for dinner maybe but no brunches here!

   This was our first time at this establishment. We arrived at 7:45p. Richard, our waiter took our drink order and came back a few moments later to tell us that they were out of martini glasses and if we wanted to alternative glass for our martinis. We found this very strange since it was so early in the evening and they were already out of glasses. We ordered shrimp cocktail, and the cocktail sauce had no taste. The chiliean Seabass was very fishy tasting. All in all it should’ve been a very pleasant dining experience felt lacking. Definitely need for improvement from management.
