The food is always good. Customer service was excellent. However, I was disappointed that the menu for the summer had been scaled back to not include my favorite side dishes.

Derica took care of us she was exceptional .Food and apps were great happy hour was enjoyable the music was very good. Just an easy place to unwind on a Friday. Thanks for your consistency

My husband and I have dined occasionally at Blu Halo for many years and always enjoyed it, but it had been awhile, so we decided to make reservations to celebrate our 44th wedding anniversary there this past week. We were delighted to find that we’d be seated at an extra-special corner booth where a framed “Happy Anniversary” message was waiting for us on the table. Some of the tried-and-true menu items had been tweaked a bit in interesting ways since our last visit, and there were some new offerings as well. Fun! Started with the always yummy (and strong) “Halo Punch,” then enjoyed chilled poached shrimp appetizers with delicious key lime aioli and cocktail sauce. The bread basket included fresh warm pumpkin seeds-topped rolls and soft butter. We had the Dijon-encrusted lamb chops (plated with spicy diced baked sweet potatoes) and they were fantastic. Ample portions, seasoned and cooked to perfection. Sublime! The very good praline crème brûlée was a sweet ending to a standout meal. Service was attentive, competent and warm. It was a lovely evening and good value; as always, we’ll be back.

The food was absolutely on point. The roasted garlic on the ribeye is delicious, and the seafood tower is phenomenal. We come to Tallahassee about once a year and my Fiancé always request Blue Halo for the seafood tower. This year however, our server-Emma-had an unpleasant attitude the whole time which was rather unfortunate, and in between music, my brother could hear the wait staff gossiping in the room off to the side. Considering we had an $800 bill, and enjoyed every bite of food, the service left a bad taste in our mouth. Not well done.

We visited The Blu Halo for a girls night. Loved the environment and was easy to get a reservation online. We were seated quickly and helped quickly. We ordered several appetizers that were exceptional. Our entrees came, which were good but then our server seemed to forget us. Took over 30 minutes to get dessert after it was ordered and took over 35 minutes to get our ticket when we we asked for it twice. We ordered to-go food, too, which wasn’t correct but we didn’t realize until we had driven an hour home. Food was great but poor service will keep us from returning.

The meal was tasty and the pinot noir by the glass was outstanding. Very few restaurants offer Paul Hobbs by the glass and it was a real treat along iwth my chicken.

Blue Halo is a go to for our Friday nite happy hour. Good and service are always so good. Booking thru Open Table was so easy. Recommend both Blue Halo and Open Table

This is one our favorites restaurants! Always fantastic service and delicious food. We have tried several things on the menu and we never have been disappointed. Blu Halo has a great Happy Hour and the best MARTINIS in Town!!!

Went to The Blu Halo on graduation weekend. I guess they just chose to consolidate all the expensive menu items and make that the menu for this weekend. That’s fine, but they took off a bunch of items I would have preferred to have had. Oh and then they turned down the quality on all of what they did serve. Steak was tough. Grouper tasted like rubber. Chicken was small and overcooked. Our waiter tried to do the best he could, but that only goes so far when half the menu is missing and the food that is served is not good and WAY overpriced. Also, the people at the tables next to us were very loud. I couldn’t hear the person sitting across from me. I realize the restaurant can’t control that, but still just added to the letdown that was our restaurant experience at the Blu Halo. Honestly, will not return.
