I was disappointed with my trip to Barrios. The food was good, but not as many options on the menu as I would’ve expected. In addition, the kitchen was extremely slow! Very delayed with drinks and our food took over an hour after ordering. The server was great, and did his best to accommodate, but overall the experience was disappointing. I would definitely be willing to give it one more try and see if it was just a fluke. Hopefully it was.

We visited for brunch and were seated immediately after arriving, with a reservation. The restaurant was not busy (only 2-3 other tables) when we arrived, but slowly filled up during our visit. After ordering our drinks, there was a wait (>15 min) for our group of 5 to all get our drinks. Then there was a significant wait to place our food order. We waited 30 minutes for our food for only for 3 out of 5 people in our party to receive their meals. The other 2 individuals waiting 10-15 minutes more for their meals without any apology or explanation for the delay. The food was good, but the service was disappointing, hence my over all rating.

Barrio's menu has lost appeal. Very over priced for what they offer. Main dish menu was more Happy Hour Like with over priced items. Our dinner price tag was $300 for 5. We left hungry. The server however, was attentive and spot on.

Walked in and thought I'd entered a club instead of a restaurant. 80s/90s/2000s music running at a volume so almost impossible to converse with people at the table. Hostess was pleasant but often absent. Drinks sounded good but were mostly flavorless, e.g. you'd never know a blood orange was harmed in the making of a blood orange margarita, perhaps they whispered Grand Marnier to what was supposed to be a Cadillac margarita. Queso fundido was pretty good though not a fan of mushroom recipe. Pozole was incredibly greasy - there's supposed to be some from the meat but this as was oil slick. Saddest day for Seattle and Mexican cuisine was when Hecho closed in 2020 and Barrio is not drawing us back.

To me if the service is bad…. Doesn’t matter how the food taste is gonna be bad. It was our first time there and we probably just bad luck and got our waitress on her bad day.

We brought friends to Bartio who had never been. They loved everything—food, drinks, service, ambiance. Made us look like we had inside knowledge of the Seattle good scene. Thank you, Barrio!

10/10 food - barrio chopped salad is so good and the drinks are always great. The lighting can be a bit hard to see in tho, and some tables are hidden from servers so service can be slow depending on where you sit

Mediocre service. Friendly but not refilling my soda and not asking if anyone else in the party wants any more drinks is disappointing. Especially when the table next to us was asked the same. Mind you only two tables including ours had customers. Churros were sitting out for some time as they came cold and had that oily after taste.

LOVED THE BFAST TACOS (the egg & chorizo ones were amazing!). The service was great and the decorations for Dia de los Muertos were so cute and fun! 10/10 recommend.

We had the chopped salad and the shrimp enchiladas which were both great! Chips & salsa were perfect. The only complaint was the light level was so low. I asked our server to turn up our light so we could see. She said it’s always dark and she couldn’t adjust it (she said she wished she could because it is a continual complaint). I had to use the flashlight on my phone just to check out what I was eating.

Took the family here for a rare restaurant night out. Wow! $200 now for 5 to eat out. The 3 margaritas boosted that. Good friendly prompt service. Each person really liked their dish. Margaritas were excellent. Prices were good and love the vibrancy of the neighborhood. I would eat here again.

This was absolutely the worst experience I have ever had at an Seattle restaurant I have ever had. Our food came out, and our shrimp tacos were not fully cooked, the server forgot to put in items from our order, so we had to share. The server has the worst attitude, we asked for our check and instead of printing us a copy he just told us the dollar amount owed which I thought was very weird. I would not recommend this to anyone.

Made reservations at Barrio to celebrate a birthday and informed on the reservation. Unfortunately, we didn't see anything special take place. The service was satisfactory, but the food and appetizer came out together when we were hoping to have the appetizer prior to the dinner we had ordered. Additionally, the shrimp enchiladas they were out of and ordered the Mango Mamacita were not very good, which was disappointing.

The food was good. It was extreme loud at 7p. We’d not been there since before Covid and I remember it being a cool, sexy space. This time it seemed rundown and it was very surprising. Kinda a bummer to see.

Food was surprisingly great. The food is as close to Authentic Mexican with a modern theme as you can get. Drinks were great. Nachos spot on and didn’t even need to add meat, though that would also have been great. The wife and I went in with sort of low expectations since we figured it may be a wannabe Mexican knock off with good drinks but it definitely was great! Server was great and made great recommendations. Awesome place!

Went for the Tuesday Taco deal. The tacos were pretty subpar for what you're paying for. The pork belly tacos were super dry. Besides that, everything was just okay, nothing to write home about.

Kgot the Birria Quesadillas and they were DELICIOUS! (More like a big taco than quesadilla, IMO). The beef was so tender and tasty. The portion size was generous (3!!). Hub got (2) tacos - they looked good as well. Recommended!

We’re from California and came to celebrate my birthday and I’m so glad we chose this spot!! The service was so good everyone was so friendly and welcoming and the food was SO good! We got the street corn, enchiladas and carnitas plate! We finished everything and would definitely come back!!

We were disappointed. This restaurant was one of my favorites and now the service has gone down. They were not even able to split the bill for 4 people. The pour I received for my drink was only half the glass and the birthday girl was not acknowledged at all. Was truly a disappointment in all aspects. The food was subpar. I ordered a fried chicken taco and it was a chicken strip wrapped in a tortilla with some sauce on it. The nachos were huge but majority of the chips had absolutely no cheese on them. Server just never came back to us and then a new server came and questioned our order. It felt so unprofessional and unwelcoming. Definitely not the same restaurant it use to be. The best part of the whole experience was the genuinely kind host at the front who greeted us with a smile as we came in.

The day was Valentine’s Day AND Tuesday … EVERYONE KNOWS WHAT PRECEDES TUESDAY culinarily speaking, and Barrio’s DOES TACOS RIGHT! Our food was DELICIOUS and the cocktails were amazing. The downside was the restaurant was VERY cold and the prices were steep. But we’ll definitely be back. The pork taquiitos (appetizers) were SO GOOD and the Chop salad was refreshing and decent for a person watching her calorie and carbs intake. I personally prefer chips to be lighter and crispier but the guacamole was fabulous and the salsas were fantastic. I give Barrio 4-stars because the food and service were EXCELLENT (5-stars), even though the restaurant was too cold and very expensive (it’s a Mexican restaurant, not Bourbon Steakhouse after all).

We went to Bario on New Years Eve for dinner (we had reservations). I expected slow service, limited food selection, and harried staff since it was New Years Eve. Instead, we had very pleasant service from everyone for the entire experience. Our waiter even offered us champagne. When we hesitated, he discretely emphasized it was on the house, so we had a champagne toast to the new year. We all had different entres, and each of us liked the food. My salad had toasted pumpkin seeds which added a really great flavor. The seafood was excellent. The portions were good. The drinks were served quickly, no waiting for anything. The prices were very reasonable, no jacking up the prices due to the holiday. The table next to us was enjoying a toast, and the waiter was very accommodating in taking group pictures for them.
