El museo de arte más grande del Condado de Orange, el Museo Bowers ofrece exposiciones, conferencias, clases de arte, programas de viajes, programas de educación artística para niños, así como otros programas especiales para la comunidad. Tangata (or "mankind" in the tribal Maori language of New Zealand) features Southwestern decor enclosed by glass walls and a ceiling framed with stuccoed beams and large windows to allow ambient light to illuminate the main dining area. I made 1:00 pm reservation as I was attending an all-day seminar at the museum. Although we were in line at 12:45, we were seated at 1:30 pm as the staff made no attempt to seat reservations first. The waitress was lovely and the food was good, but we missed the first 1/2 hour of the afternoon lecture because our reservation was not respected. Yes, they were busy due to the seminar. But they showed no respect for those of us who had anticipated their activity and attempted to help avoid problems. The hostess’ approach to the problem was to hide in the kitchen. Incidentally, while waiting 45 minutes, we could count as many as 5 empty tables. This is the business they’re in: the situation will arise again. They need to make a better plan for times when the museum is having special events.

Three for lunch. Located inside the Bowers Museum. We were there for the Terracotta Warriors exhibit. Such a wonderful meal. We had the BBQ Chicken Salad, a hamburger, which comes with fries and the Bahn Mi Sandwich, which comes with a small salad. All were very good. Sat on the patio. It was very comfortable. Server was helpful and service was good. Small menu, but interesting choices. We’ll be returning.

The other 3 people enjoyed their lunch Bbq chicken salad.. salad with grilled salmon and crab cakes, I had the cup of tomato soup which was excellent however the tuna salad sandwich ( I ordered a whole sandwich) was made with dry thick sliced bread and there was very little tuna salad .. I would never order that item again

If you can't eat onions, red meat or ham/ bacon you need to go somewhere else. Also, called the phone number on the website for 3 days and no one answered. I ordered a salad and paid $6 more to get chicken. The chicken was inedible, just horrible! It looked normal on the outside, but it was crunchy gristle all on the inside, disgusting and had to spit it out. The whole piece of chicken was like that. I didn't complain or send it back because the waitress was nice and didn't want to be a terrible customer.

Really delicious and reliably fresh and well prepared food and friendly, great customer service. Love this place! Makes going to the Bowers Museum even more enjoyable having a lovely restaurant conveniently located inside. Their grilled cheese burgers have the best grilled flavor of all the restaurants we go to, and we eat out regularly.

Our waiter was a delight. He was very accommodating and provided excellent customer service. The food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Convenient after visiting the museum. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was very good. The multi grain bread used for sandwiches is amazing. The arugula salad with Parmesan and dates ( I added chicken) was delicious.

Excellent food and wait staff on a busy afternoon. Very calm and serene atmosphere along with plenty of light. Reservations are a definite recommendation.
