   Mothers Day reservations for 4 at 6:30pm Drinks and appetizers were made promptly and delivered to our table . By 8:30 still no Entree. Waiter was overwhelmed. Service just wasn’t there . We left about 8:40 . This was unusual for this particular restaurant so I will go back sometime in the future . The appetizers were Great ! The manger Did take care of the bill .

   The food was great as always and we had a nice server who was attentive and kept our glasses full. Steaks were perfect and the appetizer of shrimp cocktail was great with plenty for all. Only complaint would be the size of the sweet potato casserole. It definitely has shrunk from past times at Ruth Chris - usually our whole table can share it. It still tasted phenomenal and now we know to just order two servings of it next time to share for all.

   Extremely disappointing Mother's Day dinner. Slow, inattentive service and poor bartending skills marred what is typically a nice dining experience. The few surrounding tables that had no diners remained dirty with dishes, etc from the previous customers. As a table of 3, the 4th place setting was never removed until we asked. After taking our drink and appetizer order the waiter disappeared and our salads arrived while our menus were still on the table and our dinner order not yet taken. 1 of 2 drinks arrived made incorrectly but of course we had a long wait before the server returned before we could even say anything. The drink was remade (though not quickly) and was still subpar. Who knew that a standard Old Fashioned is so hard to make. Our Silverware, place settings never updated/cleaned of appetizer and bread plates prior to our entrees arriving. The only savings grace was that our steaks and side were cooked as ordered and were good. But the premium pricing on the food was no way near worth it for the less than subpar service that was provided. We paid for a high end dining experience and got worse service than if we had gone to a chain restaurant. The icing on the cake of this experience was that the valet (I know they are a contractor but nevertheless) lost our car keys. I managed to find our car in one of the lots they use and of course it was left unlocked! Then about 20 minutes later the valet's manager found our keys inside of another car! They were apologetic enough but needless to say, the valet did not receive a tip. We were stressed out the entire time until our keys were found. Again, something that is inexcusable. We had been to this location previously and had a good experience but I do not see us returning here to gamble on paying hundreds of dollars for maybe a good or maybe a bad experience. There are other places in town that have never disappointed.

   The worst French Onion soup that I have consumed!! My mom who is 97 years old, stated that the Crab cake was terrible; I will ever dine there again!

   Service has fallen off significantly since reopening. Gone is that highly attentive end to end white glove experience that made Ruth’s Chris feel like the place to go to celebrate a special occasion. Check-in felt like a basic restaurant, table service was sorely lacking (slow, sloppy, just one of many covered by your waiter), even the managers neglected to stop by to check on your dining experience (instead they were clearing and setting tables). Food was of the quality expected for Ruth’s Chris, but in the end it felt like dining at an over-priced Firebirds vs a top-end steakhouse.

   I usually visit the Cary and Durham locations, but this was my first time at the North Hills location since it reopened and it was such a great experience! The customer service was outstanding, our food was delicious, and the servers were so kind and attentive. It truly made Mother’s Day extra special for my family and I. Special shoutout to our amazing servers, Gretchen and Haley!!

   We had a beautiful Mother’s Day lunch at the restaurant. The staff was very attentive and accommodating to our table, especially our children. The food was great and the ambience was perfect. I highly recommend and would visit again.

    Ashley was an OUTSTANDING server. She anticipated our needs, made helpful suggestions, and was very knowledgeable about the menu. She was very friendly and made us feel welcomed.
